Anonymous, 15 Sep 2010ur comments r sensible unlike dis user 'iphone'who is kinda... moreSee I own a motorola milestone and a Iphone 4...my closest buddy owns a N900 and a Nexus one... though I am happy with the milestone and he's quite happy with his nexus one, we both agree that the end user experience of the iP4 blows everything else out of the water... nexus one(with 2.2, a.k.a froyo)come close... but then the apps come into the picture and thats where android just falls flat on its face...
maybe just maybe sometime in the not too distant future developers see some financial incentive to make the kind of apps that exist on the iphone/itouch platform and things may change...
things from personal experience of android where android fails to match upto iOS:
doesnt suppport microsoft exchange fully so my office mails never reach me in time... iphone 4 on the other hand fully supports the MS exchange server
The music player and video quality is way way better on the iphone
the user interface is fabulous... i have had iphones for 2 and hald years now(3G/3GS/now iP4) and I am yet to see my iphone just crash or hang... they just dont... the OS is that well made...(thats the reason there's no flash... and honestly i dont really miss flash at all...not even a bit...)
and last but not least.. apps...if the indian audience starts to actually pay fr apps... rather than just download free ones... they will find that android apps are not match.. assasin's creed/ modern warfare/ brothers in arms/ splinter cell etc... the graphics are mind blowing... and now apple just released the UNREAL ENGINE and PROJECT SWORD (game on the platform come out in december)PSP is looking at iminent death... forget android...
Problem with android is not that its a bad OS but that it is a open software, therefore developers who create mad mad badass apps and games dont see any incentive of creating apps on android... as most apps on android are free... its unfortunate but its the truth...
what i wait for is win-7 mobile OS... its promising.. time will tell... till then the iphone rules the roost...

Lets c wat apple hav 2 say for its newer iphone on or later 30sept.

Anonymous, 15 Sep 2010My friend i never said dat iphone is crap,read my post agai... more The iphone is not perfect... but its is by far THE BEST imperfect one... i appreciate apple products but i am no fanboy... i have over the past years used just about every platform which is widely used... symbian, android, meeGo and the iOS... the only platform that comes even a little close is andoid...
but then apple does things far ahead of anyone else...
They just launched the unreal engine for the iphone
check this out; you'll see what I mean:
search for- "epic citadel for iphone" on YOU TUBE... watch the video... check it out... cheers :-)
(PS: games on the platform are launching in november)

Yes, the iphone has limitations just as any other phone does... i grip my milestone really hard and viola... the signal drops...same with my iphone 4...
however... I have a huge SMIRK on my face today... i shall enlighten all you gentlemen(and ladies) as to why:
apple just opened the UNREAL ENGINE for game development today... what does that mean..??
It means that you guys, all of you should check this out:
go to you tube and search for " Epic citadel demo for the iphone"...
Its just a first rendering of how the engine performs on the iphone. android just fell a year behind apple... again... and nokia and its N8...bwahahahhahahahaha...

Here's a websit you should check out: anandtech... the funny thing is that these guys carried out a very very very detailed analysis of the signal antennuation and concluded that even after dropping a signal, the iphone's signal is better than nexus one, iphone 3gs and another HTC phone... do thourough research before posting... opnions and facts have a thin line between them but its a line nonetheless !

Also I took a week of work to watch the delivery status via UPS. So I was pretty much the first official AT&T USA Customer!!!
The photo was taken on another iphone 4, so you can see the quality is better than a DSLR!
