Iphone is easier, but is still doing the job. 99% of smartphone users are not as technology literate like you or me. Therefore iphone would be best for them. One thing you dont mention is that, although iphone is easier and less complicated, its doing same job as GS3. Lot of people talk about "pressing a button and its done". But the problem is to set up the phone for that. While you like playing with your phone and customizing things, my wife just want to call, sms, mail, facebook and take pics and videos and share. I like more and use more. But everything that should be done is there. Just easier on iphone. No problem with GS3, but iphone works for me. And when i need size, i use my ipad. The size on both phones are just too small to play in the net. I think the whole size thing is boggling with people's minds.

Apple is by far the best device out thr , forget cores , ghz, still androids lags and hangs , so my opinion iPhone 5 anytime

There is no way that anyone could say the the iPhone 5 is clearly the outright best phone of them all. The specs alone have been surpassed by the likes of HTC, ASUS, Samsung and even the Chinese company Oppo, just to name a few.
To say that the iPhone 5 is the best phone is just another Apple fanboy who has no interest in what else is out there and is just following the herd.
I agree that the iPhone 5 is a great piece of hardware, but it is by far not the best phone.
But then this depends on how people define the word 'best' in this context.
I am an Android fanboy, I'll admit, but there was a time I considered buying an iPhone, and I did, a 4S. So you cannot say "Oh, you only don't like iPhone cause you've never used one."
I used it for a week and just couldn't get used to the brain-dead simplicity of iOS. The next day, it was on eBay.
Now my dear old father is looking into buying a smartphone, and keeps asking which to get. Either the Samsung GS3, or iPhone. I keep saying that he should get an iPhone because of how simple it is to use. This allows me to get away with not having to sit next to him for hours on end teaching how to use Android. In this case, the 'best' phone for my dad would be the iPhone as he is not exactly 'up with the tech of today' if you know what I mean.
So you see, while I'm an Android fanboy, I still have an open mind.
In my opinion, Apple just isn't quite there yet.

[deleted post]I use both...price same on contract...and choose what I personally feel is ok for me...I dont care if its apple or samsung...I am not the inventor, manufacturer or whatever is to do with the phone. It is someone other's brainchild. All companies are making money with their products. Therefore it doesnt matter what my choice is. They are making money. It should remain personal for what suits my needs. Calling people sheep cause they do have a feeling for a specific product, is not the name of the game. Everyone is free to make a choice. I use iphone and GS3...what do you call someone like me? Cause I love my iphone I am a sheep....what if i like the GS3 more? Not a sheep anymore? Technology let us decide what we like. And both phones' technology is of a high standard. Its just a matter of personal choice.

[deleted post]Wow...what is pros and what is cons? Look more like a list of features...the average cellphone user will not even understand what is said and will also not know how to use it! All phones can make up that feature list...gsmarena allows u to compare phones and the most important basic features are shown. I owned a GS3.... Stay while i looked at it? Not always. What most people want to know is, can i phone, msg, mail, diarise, noting, typing, take pics, and all these type of things thats important. Funny how we all scrutinise reviews etc to suit our own choice. Use the phones side by side in your daily activities, and then talk about it.

[deleted post]Wait till you need basics. Windows 8 for pc is missing drivers and lack features of 7. Same will be for os. Ios and android are the only operating systems thats in a class of its own. Do yourself a favour and experience iphone. In a class of its own. Compare apples with apples....ios6 with android jelly bean. Other os is not on that standard.

I owned both S3 & Iphone 5, yet i left S3 at home, because Iphone 5 battery life its just so amazing, even now its shows that usage for 7 hours, and yet left another 37% of battery since last full charge.

I gave it to my son. He is still struggling with sim card that connects and then not. but I suppose its not the phone. Easy to degrade a product. But the good is a lot more. Change of ringtones?? How often is that done. Swipe through homescreen? Most people dont even want to play with phone! They want to use it. And that should be easy. Most complains and claims are made to degrade phone. Maps were a wrong! But how in the world would Google supply the maps now for apple....for FREE! Pros and cons for all phones will add up to roughly the same number. In the end its your personal needs and choice that will decide...
