I have had the 13 mini and now the se 2022. the se 2022 is a better deal. The notch started to annoy me.

Would have brought a k-touch i9s mini smartphone if it was not sold out instead of the Nokia 3.1

It’s like an Oldtimer with new tech inside. Some will say that it is boring. I say that this is the most unique looking phone in the market right now. It truly is a „special edition“.
And that goes without mentioning advantages of the form factor like no rocking camera bump with an Apple case or the comfortable feeling rounded corners.

Really tempted to buy SE 2022 but the only things holding me back are abysmal battery and high EU price. Heck I could deal with the tiny battery if it were cheaper €100 or more.

I don’t know if Los Angeles is covered heavily by T-Mobile’s 2500 MHz Midband like NYC and many other large cities are. However, I’m pretty sure even if LA is covered heavily by T-Mobile’s Midband, there will be still issue with this iPhone SE connecting to T-Mobile 5g Bands occasionally just like it is the issue here in NYC.
Most of the time no issues outside, but occasionally when walking one small block on and off there will be an issue. Inside buildings very often connects in one room and struggles to connect at the other room with the same wall density and the same windows going to the same side of the street.
When you switch to 4G LTE only, mode, in those trouble rooms , then there is no issue whatsoever. Clearly the phone (maybe because it has 2 antennas VS 4 antennas on other 5g iPhones) has issues connecting to T-Mobile’s 5g bands. That wouldn’t frustrate much if the phone automatically connect to 4g Bands, but it doesn’t. The only solution for a steady reliable internet is to switch to 4G only , mode.
None of the iPhones with 4x4 Mimo (4 antennas) (iPhone 12/12pro, 13/13pro, 14/14pro) none of these phones have connectivity issues whatsoever.

I have iPhone se 2020 and its the same phone wxpwcted for process, 5g ram and slightly better camera processing its the same exact thing and this phone is overpriced in other countries like mine this was a bad joke from apple and a spit in our face

Upon intensive testing:
This phone has severe issues with connecting to T-Mobile’s 5G bands. Only this phone. iPhone 12, 13 , 14 have no issues at all in connecting to T-Mobile’s 5g bands.
However , this phone has no issues with connecting to Verizon’s 5G bands.
Also when switched to 4G only, no issues with T-Mobile 4g bands.
Me and my friend, both have unlocked iPhone SE phones:
When T-Mobile sim is inserted. : One room 300-700Mbps and the other room 500 Kbps to 2 Mbps , struggles to load any webpage or app page.
Similar story is outside at few parts of midtown Manhattan! One block midband 5g is flying (400-900 Mbps) and the next block 2-5 Mbps. Again no issues with iPhone 12.13, and 14. Only this iPhone SE.
When Verizon Sim is inserted , no issues at all.
Verizon 5g Speeds are much slower but no issue with connecting to its band.

i recently traded my first SE for this and i'm happy. when you finally own a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 car garage house, have two beautiful children and a wonderful loving faithful wife, a phone is the least of your concerns. that's coming from a 34 y.o conveyancing lawyer.
