Theoretically (though they certainly did not do this) they could have just driven the speakers harder (at a higher wattage) and claimed 21% louder

    sadegh, 12 Mar 2021phone is perfect in every way but there is one question why... morenah, noone can see those tiny extra pixels. it's just imagination. i cannot see new pixels above 1080p, and i tested it even with magnifier, watching carefully the corners of graphical objects or letters.. still couldn't spot difference!

        if speaker is 21% louder than previous gen why it doesnt come in speaker test for excellent ? it still just GOOD. can anybody please advise ?

          Everything is top notch. But where the heck is Qi Wireless charging. Why do these phone giants undermining such great feature. I do not complain, but at such premium price giving a wireless or AirVooc like feature wud be complimenting.

                I don't know for someone to buy this expensive phone just for the sake that they can afford or they just impractical when they just used this mostly on text and call.

                  By any chances,should I buy this phone (ROG 5) or Iphone 11? I'm very satisfied with fast charging on android,but I want to try Iphone too because many PUBGM Pro Player use Iphone.I'm a PUBGM player,so gyro means alot for me.Both of them are a good phone

                    phone is perfect in every way but there is one question why they didn't upgrade the resolution??
                    stop those nonsense answers , our eyes can't see more pixels or something , right after we use a phone with higher resolution we can see those small pixels specially for texts ,we even don't need to watch display closely we can notice right away, plus games are a lot more beautiful on higher resolution , genshin Impact on mi11 is so gorgeous compare to rog phone 3 , i definitely can go for 120hz and a better resolution than 144hz and FHD

                      I just buy a phone, test it for a week and if there are serious bugs, i return it (I haven't yet seen a phone with serious software bugs that needs returning, i've only returned one due to week reception), if not, i keep it and use it with the software it comes with.

                      So i see no reason why i shouldn't give Asus a chance.

                        FOR THOSE WHO ARE INTEREST IN BUYING ASUS BRAND PHONES (ESPECIALLY THE ROG PHONE SERIES)



                        SUGGESTED :
                        Choose another brand smartphone !!
                        Stay away from or avoid buying ASUS brand phones (especially the ROG PHONE series) !!


                        REASON :
                        The ASUS smartphone division, especially the software team : is weak, unreliable and can not be expected !
                        Can be seen or checked how the complaints or problems that emerge alternately are continuously complained by its users on the official website of ASUS or in the forum and internet groups.


                        EXAMPLE :
                        The most common case or complaint is actually after software updates. Instead of being smooth and stable after software updates actually it becomes unstable and problematic.
                        Like : hangs, freeze, battery runs out quickly, fast heat, likes to live my own dead or everything. Please check the truth !!

                        Just suggestions and sharing..

                            Apart the price looks great.
                            Red Magic 6 is cheaper and a bit better for less.

                              Has anyone noticed rog 5 has highest fps ever in gfxbench @72fps that is amazing. No android ever came closer to this before. Not even iphones. This tells me it's really good. Asus focused on best possible performance (fps) also Qualcomm focused on performance in 888. It lacks efficiency. You can't have longer bettery life if you're main cmfucus is over performance.you can't have both.
