?, 01 Nov 2016I have had my Zenphone for about 5 months...I don't do any ... moreI am one of those people bought this phone during its launch period. Till now i haven't experienced any major issues using this phone. This is a Very good phone according to me. I have updated my phone to marshmallow last month. It affected the stability of my phone a little bit. It freezes randomly during some operations. I haven't experienced any ghost touch problems yet. May be my asus flip cover helped me to protect my screens.

Dee1234, 01 Nov 2016How many hours standing battery a big portion of my job is to be on my phone at all times during the day (I'm the social media and marketing coordinator) I can get 2 days worth of battery on my phone working from 930Am-6pm and various little things at night like my sister texting me. I never let it die though.. I usually just put it on the charger before I go to bed and it's sitting at roughly 55% each night when I go to bed.

AppalledZenny, 29 Oct 2016i'm kinda appalled looking at all these negative opinions a... moreI have had my Zenphone for about 5 months...I don't do any of the things you describe and am very...I mean OCD level meticulous with my things. Had a case from day one and screen protector. Yet 5 months in I had to send my phone back for warranty repair due to the ghost touch issue. Don't assume everyone is careless with their device. You just never know when your number might come up for this issue. It's a pretty well known problem out there.

This phone worked for about a year but then I have this random ghost touches while typing. Frustrating indeed to have a poor quality phone from a company that prides itself of quality products, not this phone. My confidence in Asus phone is just not high anymore and will no longer recommend any phone from Asus until I'm convinced that this quality issue is not prevalent on all Asus phones.

Boy, this phone does not have official update to Android M. Remove that, also the phone is pure shit. It comes with a defective problem that it gets locked on smartcover without you using any. A problem that came from the Zenfone 5. The only way to fix that is MRA so if you buy it just get ready to send to MRA. There are no factory reset or anything that can fix that. The camera is slow, I mean, very very very slow and apps keeps crashing for no reason. Only good thing I got from it is the battery that lasts 3 days since I don't use it to much to not get PTSD.

i'm kinda appalled looking at all these negative opinions about the Zenfone 2.mine has been working pretty well up till now and it still works well.its either you people don't know how to handle your phone with care or you don't fully understand how your phone works.this 'ghosting screen' issue seem to happen to a lot of you and the only solution is to stop putting your phone on your back pockets to avoid sitting on it and as a result, cause damage to the digitizer which causes this 'ghosting screen' problem.also stop wearing tight pants and forcing the phone in your pockets which causes the screen to slightly bend and affect the digitizer.if you guys can't take good care of your Zenfone,go get a Nokia 3310 or something.

Asus zenfone seemed like the best choice for an affordable but still good quality phone. I've been using it for a little over a year, and all it wants to do now is phantom glitch the shit out of my day. I can barely use it for more than a few days without problems. It'll mostly phantom touch the screen near the top, so any type of social media or googling is delayed x100 because I can't get the damned screen to stay in one place to type. I will never buy an asus product again, esp after reading that this is a common problem and asus is not doing anything about it. It is an extremely frustrating problem that I never had to deal with until now.

william, 22 Oct 2016mine was bought last year when it just release the 4gb ram ... moreYo man, my experience with zenfone 2 is the same with you lol. Zen 2 is quite a nice phone but yeah, like every product, no product is perfect, they will have one or two or three or more defect but nonetheless Zen 2 is worth to buy tho.

Well, I was decided to pick this phone because I saw a lot of reviews saying that's a good device and because of it's hardware. But now everyone here is complaining A LOT about it that I don't even know anymore.
I was between the Zenfone 2 and Zenfone Selfie. Now I just don't know what to buy anymore, since all others is more expensive with 'less hardware'.

If you have a plan to buy ASUS ZenPhone 2 ZE551ML, consider these limitations:
1. Erratic G Sensor. There's no calibration settings.
2. The Data connection only available on SIM 1. So you can't switch mobile data to SIM 2.
3. Auto light sensor are not "smart", low brightness in highest setting.
4. The bottom case isn't flat, the device moving like a boat.
5. ZenUI auto-update reinstall Zen Circle even that app already disabled.

[4gb RAM, 64gb internal] Not gonna lie, first few month i use it, it was very nice. Then some of the apps seems to hang, freeze and what not.. To make it worse now, the screen completely black out, it takes very long time to view the screen T^T
I even considered to buy new phone, but then, not enough money.. sobss T^T
Around 20/11 next month, my phone is 1 year old~
