Plaese please please... DON'T BUT ASUS ZENFONE 5.They are providing Gorilla screen. After 1 week of purchase, accidentally i dropped it (hardly from 15cm height), the gorrila glass broke which was not supposed to break..I contacted to FlipKart and asked for service center details, they said they hv sent details in my mail id, but I didnt receive any mail. After 1 day, My phone was not functioning at all(Even power button was not working). then i restarted it (hard boot), then it worked. Again I contacted to flipkart, they provided me 2 contact numbers. One was wrong number, and on dialing second number, no one is receiving. I think they dont have service center, or they dont want to repair it.

Please confirm, I'm on Jellybean, when I use inbuilt AppLock to lock Messaging App. It stops giving me Sound/ Panel Notification for New Messages, only counter on messaging app, No Notification of any type whatsoever. Everything else is working fine like Sound/Panel notification on Viber/Whatsapp/Skype. Please Anybody Confirm this.

Is it a bad performance for Zenfone 5 battery? I'm still on Jellybean.

AnonD-327508, 09 Dec 2014lots and lots of tweakingHi Amit,

Good to know that you are getting 8-9 hrs of onscreen battery life. I see it as a ray of hope for getting a good battery backup. Currently, I am getting a battery backup of max 4hrs onscreen with minimal usage and all aps hibernated. I find this hard to manage with.
It will be really awesome if you could elaborate about all the tweaks that you made to achieve this much of onscreen time.

                      Awaiting your reply eagerly.
                      Thanks

AnonD-327508, 09 Dec 2014lots and lots of tweakingHi amit,
Its good to hear that you are getting 8-9 hrs of battery life. I see it as a ray of hope for getting a better battry life. As I said before, I get 3.5-4hrs onscreen time with light use and I find that very difficult to manage with.
Can you please elaborate about all the tweaks you have made? Will be really helpful for all of us.
                            Thanks.

@all those who dont want anybody to complain about the battery life, may be you people have been using shitty 'smart phones' from the beginning and are used to their shitty battery lives.
Well, I have used smart phones before like htc and nokia, and there is a hell and heaven difference between the battery lives of those phones and this one.

@59fifty, I hope your mom gave you some manners too apart from her phone and money.
Its good that you are getting 19-22 hrs of battery life with moderate use, but not every one is fortunate like you are. I get max 4hrs of onscreen battery life with minimal usage.
