I just found Asus had brought us the temporary fix for the data APN issue. Please check the URL below:

There is detailed SOP in the site and remember to turn on the "Settings-> Security->Unknown sources" before installing the APK

And choose one of the available ringtones, or scroll to the top of the list and browse to the MP3 file you wish to use.
You can use different ringtones for each SIM, and if you want to add special ringtones to specific contacts, you do that in contacts list.

Hard to say what to do as you can't really easily downgrade and the battery patch is only available in KitKat.
Is it the standby or the operating time that's gone to the dogs after upgrading to 1.18.40.10?

Copy your custom ringtone or MP3 file to the Ringtones folder in internal storage and this will be available in settings ringtone selection

Hi friends, Its a very nice phone, I am satisfied with price-feature-performance of it, at this price its a worth buying....specially ASUS is providing regular system updates for issue resolution, I got kitkat update also few weeks back.

hi has anybody updated the latest kitkat firmware manually??what is the permformance??plz report.....
i had updated in OTA on 15th....standby no frainage but it drains alot during browsing? my gps,auto sync,wifi everything is off.......also heating prob there...normal operation temperature is 38 C....what to do??? plz reply anyone........

Hi. After the most recent software update, my screen display keeps becoming pink. For example, my calendar widget was supposed to be white but it becomes pink. This is making reading things very hard such as mails and browser. The problem would disappear when i restart, shut down or change to reading mode. But it would come back again after some time. Anyone else experience this problem? Thanks!
