To anyone who is rooted and messed/modified the system with xposed/adaway/buildprop etc it is advised to download whole KitKat fota file and do a manual installation like Tomazz said. Hats off.

does any one getting a copper burning smell on zenfone 5 where the processor is present as i was getting the smell lately by 10 mins as i played a game with is constructor city, if no one has this problem then tell me what to do about this problem?

1.18.40.10 does not exist as a full firmware, only as a FOTA.
So please follow instructions of one post below.

Then install the 2.19.

Dear tomaz ...please help...earlier I did fota update of 1.18.40.9 and missed full update ...now what I have to do ...
Should I download the 1.18.40.10 from asus site of 700 MB file or do just fota update ..as u said earlier kitkat will full overwrite on jelly bean ..
And is there any problems occurring after kit Kat update. ??
