Small kids play with Barbies and model cars, well, big kids play with smartphones.
I could call myself a toy collector. For anything running on batteries (ok, some female khm…. accessories… excluded).

I just went to google your excellent reviews of other phones, and the first thing that came up on Google was your Facebook account.
That immediately built my respect for you as someone who spent time to google up his own reviews, praise them for excellency, and used them as basis to decide that this phone is crap.
Not many people are so full of themselves. Respect, kid.

I am surprised to hear about problems in asus zenfone 5.Mine is working very nice since i bought i.e.July 29.It never lags,plenty internal memory space.Nice touch and very nice camera.Never heats on internet use and guys i have used sony & samsung in past @3 inch phone and upon continous use of 3G there battery also go down.
I think lots of people complaining here havent used smartphone before or dont know how to use it.Hats off Tomazz for such a nice and detailed explanation of mobile.
One thing is a big surprise for me,in my asus zenfone 5 whatsapp has moved to sd card and it is working fine.How come possible as my phone is not rooted.

Im comparing redmi note with zen 5...it becoz it both have the same price range in my country....coz most common people decide to buy a phone its by price/spec....like asus when its first appeareance and booming (but disappointed in the end)....:o....

Is anybody problems with camera flash ??
If i click pictures with Flash On
The pictures look as if they have been taken in room full of smoke or in a foggy environment
Pics without flash are fine
M updated to latest firmware,latest pixel master update
And have also tried factory reset

I juzt bought tis phone a week ago the phone battery life was less and theajor problem for me is the phone getting very heat like a hot pan when i use the internet for 25 min and also when i play game for 20 min what could be the problem plz any one help me i want some remedy

Biggest difference between them is the OS. Zen comes with ZenUI based on JellyBean (ok, next week on KitKat), while Motorola comes with stock KitKat with default Google launcher.
Some people like clean stock OS, because it's uncluttered with added functions, and receives updates immediately, others hate it because it's far less user friendly.
I don't think the choice can be on hardware. It's mostly a choice of which software you like. And there is no good or bad, just your preference.

Take off the back plate.
Remove the screws (one has warranty sticker), and remove the plastic shell.
There are only a handful more screws inside and the rest is all modules plugged into each other. I consider it a Lego.
This was the point of Zen - making it all in standard parts, that can be produced en masse, and make it very simple to put together - that's what also makes it larger than other phones.
I did take it apart, didn't really like to put it back together (I'm one of those who always end up with a few spare parts), but - it is considerably easier to fix than any other mobile I've pulled apart before.

Actually i mailed asus & they are very quickly responded to reset my zenfone. If it's not working then to come to their service center. But i am reluctant to make it serviced. Please clarify one thing i have heard that this mobiles are so complexly coupled that if we service them there is a high chance that some other problems may arise. Please suggest what can be done. Thank u & other friends again .

a t, 27 Sep 2014weather i should buy asus 5 or moto g2....which one is bett... moreOld G2 has crappier screen (SD vs HD resolution), and much lower specs on hardware, such as camera, working memory, CPU - but considerably longer battery life.
The new G2 is more or less identical to Zenfone 5 - both in terms of size, screen, camera, performance - and battery life.
Zenfone has advantage in better camera modes and a much neater user interface.
Old G2 has advantage in newer OS and longer battery life.
New G2 has advantage in newer OS.
"Advantage" of this OS is only for those who like stock Android. If that was so great, there would not be that many other launchers out there.
