I've had this phone about a month. Only thing I don't like, it's the cover, because it's too slippery. Also it was dissapointment, that it didn't have MP3 player. I've been trying to find good one, but haven't found yet.

Let me tell you a story, my laptop, also from Asus also 'bricked' occasionally, screen would just not work fans would get loud, laptop hot. Normally, if I restart it, it would work again, but now it's not working for good. I have sent it to the repair shop, and they are taking a while there...

But because of me fearing that the phone could brick after a few months I have sent it back unopened. They haven't even explain why is this happening, they stated that the ramdump its a safety measure but there can be multiple causes. They don't know what's causing this or it affects all the devices and only meeting certain conditions will trigger it(maybe this is just my opinion).
                  For the reasons above I am not even considering Asus for my next phone.

                    About USB yeah that's a shame, sadly not many people care about it so manufacturers get away with using ancient USB 2.0 even on flagship phones

And what worse is trying to unlock the phone outdoor with fingerprint is practically impossible. Have to input my pin manually since face recognition doesn't work with my mask outdoor. The sensor clearly could read my fingerprint when adding one (so it doesn't necessarily the hardware problem). But when unlock the phone, it often fail. It's very annoying :/

                                I am Tomas and i am from Czech Rep. i Have bought mobile 5months ago (pre-order). Several days ago i have read many comments about this problem. I did not believe about this issues till today. This morning when i left mobile in charger and when i check screen there was numbers (as is on Matrix). I went to shop (where i bought mobile) and left my mobile there because is still in warranty. I like this mobile , but iam not sure if i could believe that this things not happen again and again. Iam really disapointed , because i will lost all docs, pictures,videos, contacts........i would like get my money back, but after 3 times with same problems i can ask about money back or new device. thank you

                                    Asus did uploaded the page saying they will launch the Zenfone 8 series in India months ago, I suppose they forgot about it, someone please hit them or pinch them so that they will remember that they forgot to launch it in India

                                      Ordered this while ignoring the internet (few reports about the ramdump in reviews). As I was waiting for the phone to arrive I started reading more and more about it and finally got into my mind that there is a chance(small as it is) this will one die on me. I got the phone, hold the phone packaging unopened and sent it back :)
                                      I hate this, the specs and the size would have been perfect...
