Thinking of upgrading, but my Zenfone Max still works. Been a reliable workhorse for years. One of the heaviest smartphones around, but well worth it for the phenomenal battery life.

Asus Zenfone Max so awesome in Battery, Camera, Internet using Data.. but then the issue is why my phone so Laggy in Gamings like CoC or ML..? while using any Apps, like FB or Youtube my connection speed(No Problem)... I just close already all running Apps before I play Online Games, but still...

maxrom, 05 Sep 2018what ROM did you use bro.I have flashed to the AOSP Extended ROm yesterday, believe me the phone appears to be a awesome performer with the new ROM. Dont hesitate, go head and flash the ASUS stock ROM

Been using this phone since last year. Ever since then i hated this phone. So laggy and heats very fast even 10 minutes of normal usage. (Youtube app starts to lag after 10 minutes of using). Just recently flashed to custom rom and i wondered why didn't i do this earlier 😊

One thing for sure. The device itself eats 3/4 of your internal memory's storage and ram usage. No wonder why did make that. The zen ui makes you ignorant for purchasing themes and other stuff to make profit for it while your device keeps lagging like hell. While saying "we are on standards with 4—6 ram and 32/63 rom" fu6k off....

I've been using this since 2016. i love how the battery works for houra... it's awesomely last... Excellent!! Thumbs up for that. My only issue's that when everytime i used it in video recording it fails my expectation. . . ive been in a concert and i recorded it in video and the result was annoying. The sounds oh my.. I can't imagine it. . . it sucks.
And every time i made or received a call, i have to put on my earphones for me to hear it clearly. 😞

Oli, 27 Jul 2018My Zenfone Max dies even it has 20-30% battery. I loved thi... moreContacted asus customers service, instructed to switch it to safe mode then back up data then factory reset. Improves and battery dies to 13%. Will continue to observe.
