I'd like to comment. I've been reading reviews and comments from this GSMArena for a few months before decided to buy this phone. Here are my own hands-on comments:
Good
1. Great display, a lot better than E71 with is its rival from Nokia.
2. Great sound, the best I ever had.
3. Great user experience, keyboards are well design.
4. Push Email function are just awesome.
Bad
1. Can't received file through bluetooth (but can send through it).
2. Kinda slow when using GPRS (even though I use Opera Mini) compared to Nokia/SE.
This is my comment for 5 days of use. Still, I give it 8/10. I just love it, coz it's just great...

Dear,
It doesn't have T9 because it has a FULL keyboard layout.
T9 is only usefull for the traditional numpad phone keyboards where you have 3 letters per key, and it predicts the word you are trying to type.
I still got a Curve 8320, was my first BB, had to get used to the keyboard small keys, but now typing goes very fast ;-)

I used to buy phones all the time and people used to make fun of me for this reason. But when i bought the Bold i cant find a better phone:p so anyone who is thinking of buying this phone DONT HESITATE!!

Hi all can some one help me for getting T9 text active with this phone..well such nice and phone but this feature is missing in this ...why ??? is there anyone who has checked ??

The beeest phone I ever had!I feel blessed when I got it before they temporarily haulted it for sale in Japan bec mine has no promblem at all.I also have ipodtouch subscribe to wifi but the typing is killing me but using the BOLDs keyboard is really amazing.The picture screen and the sound is very good too.Im glad I got the BOLD over iphone.I'm realy enjoying every moment of it as I continue to discover whats still in store in this wonderful smartphone.

diabloo, 19 Mar 2009does the bold has 3G.Yes the Bold has 3g but doesn't do video calling as there's no front camera ;-)

It's not your Blackberry Bold handset only, I too find the battery life not that good.
I don't use my Bold to listen to music, so mainly I am only using for sms/txt, emails, internet, blackberry instant messenger and other instant messenger. I don't have long conversations but it's just depending on how many calls i am to received.
I believe its just the battery life, not your handset, so don't panick much that it's your mobile. I have a charger at home and at work, so I recharge it again to full before I leave work.

I had the iPhone 3g for 7 months and I recently sold it and got the Blackberry Bold.
Personally I am more impressed with the Bold then I am with the iPhone as it doe's alot more then the iPhpne (currently), it's performance is great and it's easy to use anf the size isn't much different to the iPhone.
Now the iPhone 3g is getting a major software upgrade soon so the iPhone 3g will offer what a mobile should do.
The Bold they say is a business phone, which yes but however I use is for personal use, not work and I just love it, bettery life could be better however it's not an issue for me.
Iphone 3g is good if you like ipod, I love the ipod functionality and interface, so I went out and bought a ipod touch for my music and I have the Bold for my mobile and everything else.
In saying this, I don't store music into my Bold, however I put a couple of songs on it for my ringtone and when I listen to the songs playing through my Bold I found the sound quality better then the iphone sound quality coming through the earphones and the speakers on the phone, I was surprised by this. I think the sound quality is better with the Bold then the Iphone or ipod's as well.
Personally, it will be your choice and what features and benefits you are looking for in a mobile.

hi guys..using the bold for last 10days...its aussome..how long does ur cell battery last...?my scree nbrightness is down to 10...wifi bluetooh of and in 2g mode....i charge it over night ..and start using it at 9am ...and by the time i reach home at 9 pm in night battery is almost over ..like around 5 to 10 percent....my usage of voice call is not more then one hr and checking emial or games not more then 1 hr on average...i have a frind who too is using bold but his battery is lasting for over 2 days...with his screen bightness at 60 percent>>>>plz share ur expernces...so that i cna know wether my cell is defected or its the normall for it to last just for 12hrs after fully charge...thanku..reply would be appricated..
