I used this phone for four days on Orange network and it was my worst nightmare. The battery doesn't last for more than half day even if you are taking three to four calls which don't last for more than two or three minutes. HTC has all the features by has not power to perform or hold on to the signals. Some one commented that HTC means 'HARD TO CONNECT'. That exactly correct.

If u want to be very competitive in the market then release it now, coz people want to have the upper hand of this lovely device.right now a lot of people's losing interest of this & ending up getting other new phones from other brands.just disappointing...... :o(

I managed to have a look at one too, it was at a Blackberry stand at a communication conference.

Anyone knows when it will be released? People say JULY 25 here in Canada. This is tomorrow! and there is no sign of it?

Folks, just got hold of 9000 as a test device ( i for a mobile operator). Man, its amazingly fast, excellent UI, form factor is a bit too bulky n looks cheap plastic, however overall its a master machine trust me on this one.

I grew up in the city that invented and manufactured the blackberry. Blackberries were mainly for business purposes so it was not so popular with the everyday people. They want to expand to everyone since our city is growing so rapidly, so they put on a camera, video recording and all this jazz but they still remember their roots. For all those who complain about cameras being so important, thats fine, buy another phone but RIM doesn't care. They meet the business people's demands and they're doing a damn good job of it.
