Just have a quick query,
When im in my texts screen, i sometimes get a kind of pixelated line across the top of my sms?
i dont know why i have not dropped the phone or anything.
does anyone know of this problem and if there is a fix for it?
other than that the phone is great, i am a new blackberry user and was a bit sceptical. but hey, i will probably stay with blackberry for ever now

Hello there, I just bought a bb 9700 bold and im trying to add a yahoo email account but for some reasons the email icon is not appearing on the Home Screen. However, i have added a gmail account which appeared on my home screen. I also receive emails from my yahoo account which is sent to the messages folder. can anybody please help me about where can I find the yahoo email icon? Thank u

But you need to activate you GPS Location and that should be through having Service plan...!!!:)

Just want to know if a third party application like google maps and worldmate live is a network dependent application (meaning you cannot use it unless you are connected in your network provider) or i can use it thru wifi connection only.

You may actually be close to the problem.
I had to go home and collect the headset. When i plug it in, a song automatically starts playing from my media even while i am trying to make a call. Then i closed everything.
WIth the headset inserted, the problem stopped but when i pull it out it continues.
Then i plugged in the charger and i removed the headset and the problem stopped.
What do i do when i open i get to the settings in the media icon?
Please help

I used the BB headphone that came with my phone to listen to songs on my BB9700. When i finished i plugged it out.
This morning i noticed when i receive a call that the phone will show an icon as if the the headphone is still plugged on and it will go off (i.e. back to handset mode). Whenver the icon for the headphone comes on i wont hear the caller but when it goes off iw ill hear the caller. It is really upsetting.
I have pulled out the battery to reset and put it back but the problem persists.
Please can you help me?

I want to set up my yahoo account in my blackberry & also my office email account. Can I do it without the black berry services. I just want to do it manually like I can do it in my nokia or htc.Please tell me yes or no? & if possible the process as well.

I have 2 problems..on my husband's BB he receives the lil email icon but he can't view the email, meaning when u open the msg icon on home screen there's no email msg..
On my BB, I've set up my email, which is hotmail, but I still don't receive any mails..
Otherwise this is an amazing phone! Loving every minute of it
