i have both E72 and the BB Bold 9700, and tbh, i like the E72 better. no offence but ppl are all excited only about the free messenger really, posting their pins everywhere on their msn's and facebook's.

Erk, 12 Jan 2010The Blackberry are good. They innovate with the Bold about ... morethis is not only design, but also performance. if i can compare 8500 vs 9700 then the difference are in processor speed, RAM, 3G, camera and so on.

the main difference between bold 9700 and 9000 are RAM, camera, track pad, battery life ans so on.

i use to play with different smartphones these days, and found that the design or out look is getting less importance than the overall performance! these days a smartphone is getting closer to a laptop ....

The Blackberry are good. They innovate with the Bold about the design, the menu, the good interface that they have. But after that, they still do the same thing... I can't see a big difference between 8900,8520,9000,9700... same design, same menu, same colors.. I owned the Bold..and I'm very happy with and when I see the new models... I don't want to change because I have the same model with my Bold just the trackball... Youhhhhoouuuu..

Again read: LOCKED or UNLOCKED WITHOUT BIS, the phone will only be good for CALL and TEXT MSGS. Even with free wi-fi, it still won't work. As others told you, the next best option is E72. But given a chance of having BIS in our region, I will go for BB..

This phone is simply amaizing. I've had it for about a month and I am very happy with it. I dont think there is phone out now that can beat this for emails, all kinds of messengers, battery life is great the camera is decent and its got lots of features and plenty to download. Simply great, best in its class. Cant put the phone down.

bobby, 11 Jan 2010arbiter, thanks for the post... am looking forward to using... moreBobby, what I did today was overnight charging, on my nimbuzz at 9am and been running about 8 hours now, still have 75% of batt! BUT, I'm running on 2G, as my SP does not offer 3G. Bluetooth and wifi are on too. I like the way how the bold auto switch between wifi and 2G network. Switching to wifi will consume less power than 2G network.

Nimbuzz just work great BUT no voice support at this moment. Plain simple for chatting only, quite a number of features are missing compare to Symbian platform.
