Tips in using the phone:
1. Use only 2G connectivity. Its still fast and can handle things better than 3G. It will not heat your phone up.
2. Try to close when you don't use it.. And use cleaner for cleaning the RAM. File compression is also important so that the phones SINGLE core can render it.
3. Charge the phone correctly. It will be damage if you will use it when you charge. Remember, its only a 1230MAh battery
4. Have patience. Like its meant to be, Business is Business, less phone usage but delivers great quality and performance to those who do the same

I have this as a business phone. From my perspective it is functional but not particlarly reliable. It seems to be ok for emails, phone calls and initially battery life was OK. However I would say the phone doesnt have a usable life of more than 12 months. Ive had mine 18 months and have been plagued by problems with trackpad, battery, etc. Now replacing. My personal HTC One S phone purchased at the same time and used far more still works perfectly.

lol cmon don't joke. it's a piece of crap. slow single core. tiny low res screen. even back when it came out it was poor compared to others out there. for a kid to use as a basic phone, sure it's fine. but otherwise... nah

i am a 9790 user and i will tell you dat this phone is cool;it depends on where u bought it from;my battery can last me 8hrs of heavy use and 12hrs of only calls no ping;

I've used the phone for the past week and I'm impressed with it. I like the compact dimensions and light weight. The User Interface is also simple and devoid of unnecessary frills so common with Android phones. The music player is simple and intuitive. Furthermore, I was able to download often used apps such as Whatsapp, TV Guide, budgeting apps, Facebook, Shazam, etc. Works well enough for me! I can see I'm going to enjoy the phone.

This is the worst phone I've used in my life. U can't even boast of a fully-charged battery to take u for 30 minutes. Applications do not install; my BBM has vanished upon update. Pls dont buy this phone, you are sure to regret it.

This 9790 bold is biggest crap ever to be produced ,I paid a fortune for it , and no one can help solving the problem, was a nokia user for 15 years no problems , got this phone , camera freeze phone you take one photo and freeze and do a battery pull , software up to date , no applications installed , new battery bought ,8gb memory card , i will never never go back to bb for sure
