Brill phone - battery life is not as good as most BlackBerry's but still better than most phones out there - lasts a good 15-18 hours of above-average usage.
BlackBerry Bridge makes this phone fly if you have a PlayBook; and the new firmware update adds support for Personal Hotspotting. A cracking phone for the £290 I paid for it. I'd still rather the 9900, but I'd also rather the extra £175 in my pocket too :)

The battery is one of the worst seen in all smart phones.. blackberry needs to do a lot of work to ensure better batery performance... doesnt last for even one day

I Got my blackberry a month ago, the battery dont last a day, i dont use the internet i dont listen music and downloaded nothing i only use bbm. the touchscreen already giving problems

You are saying the NFC is carrier dependent what does that mean. Because mine doesn't allow me to exchange anything with anyone who has NFC.

I purchased Bold 9790 on 20/05/12. since begining I am facing problem with touch screen it is not working at all ,track ball also have problem already given 2nd time for repair ar Remington India ,Gurgaon ,shop keeper Priya Gen next sector 14 is also not taking any responsibility , i wants replacement of this set can some body suggest to khom i should approch.

I have been using Blackberry 9790 for a month now and it's working great. It has a nice, slim, elegant shape. The touchsscreen is working appropriately. I didn't encounter any problems yet although the battery should last longer.

BlackBerry Bold 9790 is not JAVA enabled.
so what kind of applications it dose not support?

have been using series of BB but this 9790 is cute and strong including the battery,it doesn't hang either is lovely.

Annoyed teen, 04 Sep 2012Have had my blackberry 9790 for 2 or so months and am havin... moreI too have the same problem in the phone, got it 2 days back and the front speaker is not working..... had to switch it off and on several times to get it working..... i picked it up from chroma andheri and they havent even given me the bb pouch(energy saver)...... whereas it is given everywhere else...... it sucks man...... though I liked it sleek design but the speaker problem and the not giving of pouch has really pissed me off......
