until now the 8520 was the most beautiful blackberry, but now its time is over...welcome to the 9790, im in love with it.big respect to the designer...

This is a very nice phone... Got it new and never regretted it but the problem is the battery span.. Heavily used can't last up to 5 hours...

guys i joined a group in the bbm but i don't want to see group updates from members on my messages folder.
i dunno how not to receive group updates without leaving the group. can anybody here teach me how.

Im a bb user for quite sometime now and honestly it changed my life when it comes to my work, its really great, i started with bold9000 then upgrade it to bold9780 and i also have pearl9105 as of now, and im thinking of upgrading to bold 9790 but with all the comments on the battery life and im a heavy caller, please guys should i push through? Coz i think i like the design and os of 9790 pls HELP

I love my Bold 9790 although there's really an issue with the battery life and sometimes my phone is also overheating for unknown reason.
I believe that the phone needs an update from RIM to improve efficiency and stability of the software.
Overall, I can rate this phone 7 out of 10.
minus 1.5 for the battery life, not really a big deal and another 1.5 for the software which just needs an update to address some issue. :)

Ok i just got my BB 9790 like 2 days ago. First there was a problem with BB world where i can't download apps, but was quickly settled after i switch off my wi-fi.
However, about an hour ago, my BB got SO FREAKING HOT it felt like it was going to explode at that very moment? Why? Can someone help me?
I had to pull off the battery and shut it down to ensure it cools down properly.
Fyi, i had a BB bold 9700, 9900, etc and no problem with batt.
BB bold 9900 is more squarish, harder to grip, non-auto-focus camera.
Whereas 9790 is more rounded, faster, and with auto focus camera and i love it so much better :p
