I have my Bold 9790 for 4 days now and as I can say, there is really a problem with the battery. That's an issue that we are all expecting to be solve in the next firmware update.
I experienced just awhile ago, my phone is overheating. When I held it in my hands, it's hot, I'm not charging it at the moment. I was really worried and surprised. Are there any of you experiencing the same problem?

I have BB 9790, and it's really great, the battery life also stands for about 2 days. I really like my phone since I'm first time user of BB. The question for me is that I can't change my themes, i want to change it.

yez all of u was so right" 9790 is much preety n very slim, look nice in my hand, n make my fingger dancing alot in the screen, its fast. the trouble in battery i hate it! only 4 hours. n khalid n anonymous right the best blackberry battery is 9780, and 9700, me am seller blackberry in jakarta indonesia, then many of my friend ask which one they need to buy, n ilove this website so much,tx

Anonymous, 06 Jan 2012I got the blackberry bold 9790 the battery dies really fast... moreI had the same problem even got my BB replaced but the state remains the same battery dies very fast but only when u use net on ur mob other wise it will last for the whole day atleast. Try auto on/off feature on ur mob it will help.

Hi everyone. I see the forever issue beingthat of the battery life. Started out with an 8520 as a light user, battery seemed fine, moved on to the 9800 as a heavy user & I thought it was the worst thing ever!! Had to charge it 2-3 times daily & I could not get another battery & an external anywhere. I figured that something was wrong because it didn't seem right for 1 phone to die this much. Wat I did to solve di problem was to do a phone wipe & some other cleaning & I'm now charging my phone once a day the most. Battery last all day with about 20%-30% of energy left & I am a very heavy user. Software issues can cause a battery to run down quick along with worn out batteries. I also use a pearl 9100 & it has the best battery life I've seen so far. I play music off it all day everyday & it lasts up to 3days. It's like the battery won't die no matter how hard I push it. I am yet to try these new OS.7 phones, especially the 9900 & 9790. As soon I do I will let you guys know what I think.
