After running the test, that should rectify it... Leave a comment or comment for other issues.

Hi guys, I just got my bb 9930 and I can't connect to the internet after subscribing on MTN network in Nigeria. It is always showing a small edge and 3g but won't connect. Even when I dial *556#, it doesn't respond, it dials like u ar calling a phone number. I can't even recharge. Pls kindly advise guys. thanks

xyz, 17 Jul 2013I bought my 9930 from ebay. Currently using it on airtel se... more3G will work on this phone, for this you should take activate any one of the 3G plans.
1) Go to Options->Device->Advanced System Settings->TCP IP
2) Make sure "APN Settings Enabled" Checkbox is ticked.
3) Opposite to APN, type "airtelgprs.com"
4) "APN Authentication Enabled" Checkbox should be unticked.
5) Username for APN and Password for APN should be blank.
6) Power off the device.
7) Remove and reinsert the Battery and SIM.
8) 3G should work flawlessly.
9) Remember, you can't use blackberry apps using 3G, unless you have BIS.
10) If you want to browse internet using Airtel 3G, use Opera.

The battery for me lasts for two and half days on 2G network and one and half day on 3G network.it depends on how you charged the battery the first time you bought your phone.

Battery does not hold charge after 6 months of use. Is it a device / hardware issue or battery.

To resolve d challenge b4 u, leave ur sim inserted in d fone, click on option icon on d homescreen, scroll to device and click, scroll to Advance System Settings and click, scroll to host routing table and click, press menu key and click on register. Remove ur battery and put it back for d fone to restart. Goodluck.

Pls i need help on my 9930. When i inserted my mtn line it does not bring big EDGE and did not connect bt when i inserted other people lines, it is workin. I test it wit my airtel line, is doesnt bring edge. Pls, what is the wat out od this problem??

Hi all,
Can someone please confirm that does the Bold 9930 without camera version work on Tata Indicom in Delhi,.India?
I am getting this on eBay And I like the phone.
I'd there s problem that the sim services will work but the Blackberry features may not.
Have never used a blackberry before, so please beat with me if the answers are obvious.
