The blackberry 9300 curve 3g is the best phone I've had...I prefer it to the samsung s8500 wave...the unlimited blackberry internet service is awsome

it goes with 624mhx processor like onyx's :D
and os6 available for this phone , but i found some bug on os6 , the most bothering bug was cursor bug..

Does anyone know how to use blackberry phones to make international VOIP calls, like in the E series Nokias. I live in the Middle East where phone call rates are like highest in the world, to support Government monopoly companies like Etisalat.
I heard BB does not support this. To me and many others this is the star attraction of E71 E72 etc (other applications are mostly useless in these phones). Nearly land line phone quality, nearly free (10 dollars = 7 hours of phone to India!). Illegal here, but what to do, with the legal phone rates.
Having this feature in bb would make it the perfect machine.

I bought this phone today and after downloading some apps from MY APP WORLD, I tried to run the apps but it says there "you are currently on a service plan that does not support this application. If you want to use this application, please contact your service provider to upgrade your data plan"
Why is this? can somebody help me. btw, I'm from the philippines.

Thanks for comparing !! I went to market and picked up my 9300 without reading any review ..as lost the other phone and really no time to research..
however was only confused about 8520 and 9300 ..but i thought 3g/gps/looks made me decide on the spot ..battery as added advantage as you told
but i think i got a steel at ezone ..got this for 14990 after using my stanc card and discount ..3 k differnce definitely did not let me think

Can you help with the upgr... moreI am running the Blackberry OS6 on my 9300 and have done since november I got it from the link on crackberry and it linked me to a hotfile download. really easy to install just run the exe file with your phone pluged in and follow the steps and 30 - 45 mins later you will have os6 on your 9300 it doesnt affect you warrenty as you can still downgrade to 5.0 with the desktop manager
