Sending/recieving via bluetooth
You first need to go to bluetooth options, and add the other device. Once the 2 phones are paired, go to Media/menu/recieve using BT to recieve. To send, go to the file, press menu/send via bt and select the paired device.
I hate this about blackberry phones, but at least they do it for "security" reasons. Its complicated but I live with it :)

I have the same problem as Josh. I also can't transfer files via Bluetooth. Why is that and how do we make it work?

I can not tranfer files via bluetooth.. i can pair the device but sending fails while recieving the files from the other phone. Tried Nokia, Samsung.. PLz Help.

While I agree for the most part, you must remember though, this is the internet. And lots of immature, irresponsible and disrespectful people go on the web every day and there's nothing you can do. Especially on open sites like this. Freedom of speech. But you, my friend, must be careful with your language. I've seen your posts get deleted because you use curse word and that is against the rules on the forums. Don't take things too personal because almost every day you'll run into someone trying to say something to cause discussions and what-not.

plz..i had enough reading all the sh*t about this cool gadget..ya,i know that every body has diff perception n knowledge..so u all hv the right to make an opinion..but make sure that ur opinion is acceptable n makes good to anyone..this forum should be the stage where pple can shared everything about this cool gadget..u all can discuss,ask opinion,ask for probs solution n so on..but not the room for anyone to condemn..yes,i agreed every smartphones out there has the pro's n con's..we should come together n find the solutions if there is a problem regarding this fone..not to punished it with some silly comment or make a bad review on it..so,make a good research n then decide wisely what u want suits to ur needs n desire + buying power abilities..then u should not feel regret..BB's is the brand which has become strong day-by-day..once,their main target market is actually for business pple..but now it seems that everybody can used it even though u r some kiddies that have a rich parents who will buy anything for u even though u know nothing about BB's is all about..but thats business folks..every cellphones maker wants all pple buy product from them to gain money n become more establish n strong in the market..thats y nowadays BB tries to cater all level of pple..although this gemini is made by plastic but it is not plastic at all..the quality is there..dont u ever thinks that device which is made by steel or what is good!some of them r rubbish n just hide behind their steel built..looks at the gemini processor..it has 512 mhz..that is awesome dude..n u can compared to other s/phones out there..most of them sometimes have not more than gemini..i dont want to reveal any products but u all make a good looks at it..this gemini is so damn fast when surfing the net although with its EDGE connection n not 3G..so folks,b4 posting any comment think 1st..never simply throw any bad comments..if u never used this fone plz get along with it b4 makes any comments as i saw many comments come from pple who doesnt own one..thats ridiculous my fren..i hope u all u/stand..after this plzz just post some informative comment so that it can be useful for everybody n not fighting each other..

Please stop arguing bout things that not really important, oh y, forcing or mentioning other type phone really often on other section was a serious bad action(more if u r using bad words :p).... Then if u were reviewing ppl then GSM Arena not a good place to do.

"The all-plastic construction is ok, but the plastic used on the front looks quite cheap. It attracts smudges, stains, and makes the device look like a Chinese toy designed for four-year olds. Not good at all".

Does it have document viewer whereby I can view MS word, Excel, PDF and other documents coming through my email?
If it does not have it then can i download the viewer or similar program on it? which one is the best software for BB 8520?

i don't think so, the 8520 is £150 on pay as you go/ sim free, its cheap, and if it was prestigious then why are kids from the age of 12 years old using them, anyone can buy this phone, its not for elite executives, dont make me laugh.

Thanks guys for all your comments. I am buying the original BB from Dubai. I was getting used BB phone but I was unsure as you said. I believe New product is the best product. The main reason of buying this phone is the BIS. I am not in the office alot so I would like the BB to help me keep in touch.
Thanks once again for all your positive responses and I have ordered BB 8520. I will get it very soon... I am excited just like a baby getting a new toy :)
