BlackBerry KEY2 lands in India for INR42,990

The BlackBerry Keyone was a massive success and TCL launched its followup named Key2 in early June. The phone slowly started arriving to various markets, including the UAE, the UK, and Canada. The next major country that is set to get the BlackBerry Key2 is India, where the phone will be available for purchase on July 31.

The BlackBerry Key2 price has been set at INR42,990 or about $625. Amazon will offer the phone exclusively, and it will be available with INR4,450 cashback offer from Reliance Jio and ICICI bank. BlackBerry India promised more surprises that will be unveiled on the launch date next Tuesday.

The QWERTY smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 660 chipset. It has a dual 12 MP + 12 MP camera and a 4.5” screen with unusual 3:2 ratio due to the physical keyboard. It has 3,500 mAh battery and Android Oreo 8.1, coupled with DTEK security features by BlackBerry.

OMG!!! Who in this modern world is gonna buy this ancient ''smartphone"???

I know what 'niche' means, and I also pointed it out specifically, in the second line, that their own 'niche' market isn't responding well to them. Their older phones- Passport, Priv and Classic did not sell as much as they THEMSELVES expected. ...
