who cares whether univercell is reliable or not reliable
if its less than 15k its worth the money with all the features..i dont think it will be 13k coz 8250 itself with some less features cost around 12800..so we can expect it less than 15k

Vodafone is only doing the 9105 in the UK. Is there any way to acquire the 9100 here?

Am seriously considering getting it as it offers free unlimited BB messaging to other BB's world over. (have never owned a BB before, but my brother who lives overseas, has a Bold 9700 and swares by its performance).

Carl, 24 May 2010I totally agree with you. I've used the E Series from 71, 6... moreI check the BB pearl 3G 9100, specifications the hardware is too good. I inspire this phone for it's 1-great stylish look, 2-great trackpad, 3-smart 624MHz processor, 4-(360 x 400) pixels, 5-Dedicated music keys on top, 6-Half-QWERTY keyboard and of course it's 3G. But the bad factor is 1-graphic menus I miss so much as nokia and other, 2-it's 3G phone but it's not have webcam, 3-BB was not planing for Radio, 4-poor battery back-up, 5-I expect 5 megapixel camera 6-One of the BIG reson is it's very very very costly.

Unfortunately it won't automatically turn on when you launch apps like Google Maps. You have to first go to Options>GPS turn it on, do a GPS refresh, then leave this running in the background (don't exit) and then launch Google Maps. My Nokia E71 did all this automatically for me.
Didn't find Skype for this phone.

A stable, fit for purpose, stylish phone. This is my first BB. I got it a few days after exclusive release by Telstra.
It's email and call quality are amazing. It does pretty much everything I want it to do from a business perspective and even music. Coming from an E71 I miss the graphic menus but I got used to it now. I find that typing on the condensed QWERTY a bit difficult and not always intiutive, sometimes I feel like I should have bought the 9700, but I'm sure in time I'll get used to it. The screen is crisp clear but a little small for surfing. The camera autofocus and flash are great. Speaker is a little lower than my E71 but still good. Battery life is just under 2 days for me. My only issue with this phone is the lack of themes/applications with 360x400 screen ratio.
