i work for an independant company upgrading existing orange consumer customers....we have recieved the new pearle! on our list as an option for our customers to upgrade to....no way is it faster than the i phone...on second glance that the i phone actually has twice the speed for internet (1GHz) and the pearle is (600GHz)...and it just seems to me thats its just a glorified 8520 curve!!!!?!!!!

i don't like the QWERTY keyboard, but this normal keyboard is great. i love it

I got the Pearl 3g last week, i have a fairly new B/B storm but prefer the keyboard type phone rather than touch. This is a great wee phone, It's like everything i need and use in such a smart looking phone. I work for a mobile network and also use iphone and compared to this it is very fast, very user friendly and i find much better all round. Very impresssed :o)

i've just got this blackberry and as a 1st time user i think it's fab!!! Not a big fan of the usual BlackBerry QWERTY keyboards and this is brilliant! Big smiles :D

Got my Pearl 9105 today , think the keypads are just way to small :S
Probz takes me time to get used to it :S
The joystick ( the sensitive thingy in the middle ) are not as sensitive as my bold or curve :S
I prefer my bold , or the curve x

I bought this phone two weeks back, and this is my first blackberry. Its the same as the Bold 2 (9700) as regards the OS is concerned.
I bought it because it's a nice looking model, and my preference for sleek handsets. You will not miss your qwerty, it only takes getting used to.
Nice phone overall.

Is this really a WORTH it phone? I'm not a fan of Blackberry because in the first place, I don't like QWERTY keypad...but since I've heard about this, I'm starting to like it and have one...any suggestions? pls. help! thanks!
