my phone is 2 weeks old, the trackball wont select things since yesterday but it will scroll, i tried taking the battery out but that doesnt work & sometimes it opens programs without me selecting anything.... what should i do??

I absolutely hate it and have the desire many times to walk into my dealer's store and throw it against the wall! It doesn't keep a charge ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to carry my husbands cheap $10 phone with me, had to buy OnStar Phone Minutes for my car and also bought a phone on the go from Wal-MART, so I could depend on something other than my BlackBerry. I'm ready to call the Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. Alltel will not help me. DON'T BUY THIS PHONE....

HATE this phone. The Curve was cheaper when I went to get a Blackberry, and I didn't get it because I liked how small the Pearl was. HUGE mistake. I have almost thrown this phone against the wall MULTIPLE times. It erases my messages, doesn't charge, and always is "thinking" with that stupid hour glass. DO NOT GET THIS PHONE.

I'm not sure if anyone has this problem, but my phone dies really quickly and its a brand new battery, even if i don't use it, it would die by the end of the night, if i do use it it dies within hours.

try that, if need be do it a few times.
or try this aswell.
Keep the phone plugged in, but remove the battery try turning it on.
If it works there is a problem with the battery, could be defective/ would need a new one. or if it still doesnt power up it could be a equipment issue.
At that point bring back the phone to the store and SWAP it out for the same model. and before you leave the store open it up then and there to make sure it works.
