Hi,
i just bought the phone and I charged it while it was open because it wouldn't charge otherwise. Now that it's charged, I can't open it. It does not work at all!!! Do you have any suggestions?

Yes to create a sms is a little more complex then a regular phone. what you would do when it populates your contact list, you should see at the top of your list "USE ONCE" at that point you enter the # that you wnat to send the text to.... or if your gonna be texting this person back you simply just REPLY to that persons text. it will automaticaly put that # in and you just write your message.

ketan, 09 May 2009can any one tell me how can i transfer contacts from blackb... moreA normal sim card can hold around 250 contacts so depending on the number of contacts you may need one or two sim card
In order to transfer the contacts follow the process below
1. Go to your phone contacts and copy all the contacts to sim card.
2. If your contacts are greater than the memory size of the sim card ,first check upto which contact it got transferred to sim card
3. now insert the sim card in the new phone and copy all the contacts from sim card to phone memory.
4. Repeat the steps until you are able to transfer all the contacts.
If you are with Rogers, you can get these at a Rogers store for a price of 40$ CAN.

I love this phone... moregoo inuendo but i had this for 2 months and sold it to get the 8800 and then the 8820 i can tell u onnce u got qwerty u'll never go to short type or whatever that is called with at least 2 letters on each button hate the pearl good design though most irish ppl would and do go for the preal and pearl flip because IT FITS IN THEIR POCKET OR ISN'T BULKY i genually alwasy cary 2 phone sin my hand because im alwasy using them because school is 7 hours and by the time i have settled my life out again its around 10pm and the pearl slowed me down way too much i used to have a silver phone bt i dont anymore most of my phones are black except my sidekick lx NEW ONE OUT SOON 13TH MAY cant wait i ive in ireland so we dont have t-mobile but its 3g and on the 2100 umts which our network 3 is and the only network that has never let me down so i have the priceplan ready and as soon as they hit e-bay im getting one

Hey, just got the fone, i have this problem that how do i turn the T9 off?...like the words prediction mode or stuff.....its really annoying, would be waiting for anyones reply..

I´ve been using Pearl for 2 months. If you like minimal aesthetics, you do not like fancy graphics and what you´re looking for is efficiency just buy this phone. I had doubts, mostly due to negative comments here now i feel i made the right choice. I love this phone.

saleem, 21 Apr 2009I was using NN95 before as long as I switch to blackberrry ... morethats wat i thought,use to call ppl back instead of textin but give it time,about a week or two and u'll be flyin..just think of it as the keyboard infront of ur computer..u'll never want to go back...
and ur mates will not want to send msgs from ur phone when they have no credit cause it takes them too long..funny to watch them lol

I had been using Black berry since four years. First time I purchased 8130 and lost it last year. I searched the market and then bought 8100 and it is a machine which is really giving me every solution to all my issues.
