i cant seem to receive any files from my friends via BLUETOOTH... it said "pair device"... but after pairing it could not connect to the other phone...
but sending via bluetooth is ok...
please help!... thanks.

I was wondering if anyone knows how to hook up my hotmail to my black berry pearl phone?
I got it yesterday and it's fustrading, it says contact your email provider, i did that but no answer yet..anyone who know how to hook it up email my please!!

i loved the way the phone operated but on a daily basis is deleted all of my history and calls were not even coming through..they said missed and were deleted before i could see who called..i know my memory was empty, because i emptied it daily and the phone was only a week old. they said it was typical of this phone so after two phones in 3 weeks and missed calls and messages deleted i had to get rid of it.

I had this phone for about a week now.. and i love it..it helps me keep organized i love the texting it took a while to get used to .. but i love it now and the media player everything about it JuST GREAT>>>>:D

my phone keeps saying Insert sim card but its in but the problem is the sim card keeps sliding out anyone know how to fix this please help?

Thanx Ken, your information was helpfull, I heard a memory card was a good idea and I am going to get one today.
As for the hotmail thing, well now I know, it sucks but I thought it was me.
And I am a pretty fast typer aswell.

My usb port has broken on two Pearls, has this happened to anyone else? Now my phone is charging only from my laptop charger but not my car or outlet chargers...of course my warranty is up. I can't figure out why this would happen to two different phones, and why my current phone is still taking a charge from my laptop USB cord only? Any advice?

Ok everyone listern up.
If u keep losing call logs n old messages its cos ur device memory is low so the bb compensates by deleting them. Solution: save ur pictures, music on the media card not on the device and also delete byte heavy emails no longer needed.
As for Hotmail link ups. Apartently there is a problem with hotmail n blackberry link ups.Hotmail being part of that er..empire charges for that so BB left them out of the loop.All other email addresses work fine.
The pearl's sure type style of typing does take some getting use to (thats what u get for the cute slim shape) but once u get use to it..its a breeze.Trust me-am a fast typer on it.

Does anyone know how to hook up a hotmail account on a blackberry, I bought it from one network and had it unlocked for another network. Everything works except email option.

This is a poor product I am on my third one in 4 months the charging mechanism has failed on each occasion I used the old model and never had one problem

I have a pearl and like it alot, the couple of problems I have had recently is that all my sms and call logs just disappeared and couldn't get them back.
Another thing is, I have an unlocked phone from one network and using the data plan on another network where almost every site works except my email. The providers web site doesn't except my pin number. When I go to hotmail through the google search it says I need Adobe.
Can anyone help.

Good phone. I ve used it almost one year. I ve never have any problems using this phone. Probably you spend more time to learn about it,but you wont regret if you do it. The keybord is perfect. You dont need a lot of time to go from one option to another cause the menu key helps you to move in any position. I definatly like it

i have had this phone since october and its a peice of junk! 1. the scrole ball moves but on the screen nothing happens. 2. the keys dont work all the time. 3. its slow the slowest phone i have ever had. do not buy peice of junk!

I have had my BB for 5 weeks. After a week of activating and using it, I began to have problems with it holding a charge. While hooking up to the charger, I had to put the charger halfway before it would even charge. If I put it all the way in, it would not charge at all. Now, its totally dead and won't turn on at all.
Has anyone else had this problem?

I just had to set one of these up for someone in our company and I have to say after 5 minutes typing on that ridiculous kb I wanted to throw it through a wall. I just hope no one else gets one in the office.
I can see it being ok for the non-business user that doesn't have to type on it but I'll stick with my device of choice with full qwerty kb instead.

create a pic msg insert the pic as normal. then at the "to:" field put in the email address of your friend
