a smartphone huh? it ain't that smart.. i felt sorry to users who bought this phone, is terrible! Its overpriced! there's nothing special in to it, design is nice but i expect more better performance not just looks! compare it to price and specs, i would recommend you to buy Samsung I600.

you can't make the pearl ring and vibrate at the same time.
thats one thing that annoys the heck outta me about this.

you CAN pic message, your blackberry pearl just doesnt have the newest applications, my old one which i got in december, didnt either, and i downloaded the newest software onto it, and it got pic messeging, instant messaging, and some other stuff.
then i broke it and got another one, which already had all the newest stuff.

i've only had this phone a month and LOVED it until it deleted my call logs, all my text messages, and was delivering my text messages 6 hrs after they were originally sent! Over priced POS!

Got this phone at christmas, and loved it up to mid may. At that time all my friends predictions came true(also the reason they all have swopped from blackberry), namely the trackerball stopped working!. Trying to get in contact with Blackberry in the uk is a nightmare, i've given up and am about to throw the phone away, as no one can repair them and following up a warranty is near impossible.I'd appreciate any help, as the company i bought it through are not interested, despite my protests.

it sucks you can't even send picture msgs if you dont have the data plan and plus it keeps freezing up on me. and sometimes it just deletes my call logs for no reason at all.

A nice looking smartphone but with a very complicated menu, well hidden options, just try to set the ringer tone and see how long it takes to find this option....the QWERTY keyboard makes sms writng complicated and anoying , moreover you have to confirm each letter with enter before proceeding to the next one. Not a user friendly toy, for shure. Gave it up after 3 days ! Returned to Nokia

Just got my new Pearl and love it, Great, stable phone and serves my needs fine.
Only thing that i would like to ask anyone out there is,
Is there any way i can make the pearl ring and vibrate at the same time???
And can i make the ring volume louder or any suggested ring tone sites???

to the person who asked where is the browser
hit the application button and go to the browser ..then hit the button LEFT of the track ball and hit GO TO and pick ANY website u want ... u jus cant view flash video sites like youtube ..but u can still search the site

i got my new pearl! (earlier comment about 3 or 4 down...) well, 2 days ago...anyways...
its a lot different because this one has the updated software.
its a lot nicer because sadly my old pearl was so old that the trackball turned brown, and there wre scratches on (and oddly, UNDER) the screen, and chunks taken out of the sides from dopping it all the time.
i was so surprised when i saw a crisp, clean, WHITE trackball.

I like this phone a lot and i want to buy it. Can you tell me how is with the baterry time? How long is the stand by and conversation time? How is with the signall?
