Tim, 29 Aug 2013Serious issues with Q10.I am a heavy user of phone, voice a... morei own a q10 and i have issues in it , such as the things u may not notice if you do not have lots of people and diffrent protocols , ive got whatsapp and what not , with lots of friends and families ,some dont receive my messages some receives , and some i dont seem to see their messages and some i do see , my tests was conducted after social conversations figuring out issues of not knowing and unknown circumstances , other problems which is majorily over this is that things tend to hide and duplicate itself , and after certain updates my sms history will dissapear , bank transactions that i have kept in my sms is now all gone , i even dismissed this as a major fact for the passion i have over blackberry just because i still can receive my bank logs through online banking , others are certain crashes in certain apps such as Skype and fathkorooni , a prayer calender and other issues are my mail accounts , are acting all weird through the diffrent exchange's or war not i cant figure out why that my win8 and my bb10 have weird email synchronisation when my galaxy note2 is just fine

Also to clear ur doubts its basically no nonsense phone. Coming from android platform I do miss customisation and themes but I still luv qwerty keyboard on Q10 . Pls also understand ur purpose first. I have my ipad for surfing net and watching video and this is hard core communication,chatting device for me. But if ur looking for browsing net and for apps and all like flipboard , pulse , Instagram etc, then I think u should opt for android. But eventually all these apps and customisation will come to blackberry. So don't even think twice before buying,.

Don"t Listen to Negative Opinions about this good phone bb Q10 , if you listen all you know it"s already year 2014.

Love the phone, but they need to bring back the more robust Custom Ringtones/Alerts that they had with previous Blackberry models such as Sound Alerts (ringtone volume, play count, when to play sound), Tactile Alerts (vibration, vibration length, vibration count, when to vibrate). That is one of the things that made Blackberry's so nice. I could tell from the ringtones and/or vibrations who was texting me. Here's hoping that fix this soon!

AnonD-180723, 31 Aug 2013hi I'm thinking of getting the blackberry Q10 please give ... moreWell I bought mine simm free and I've had no bother with it at all, battery life is good, the new o's 10 takes some getting used to but now I like it, I've bought a second q10, build quality is good bock to how they used to be, I really cannot use the battery life up in a day even with heavy use, this is a good phone

Hi All,
I am planning to buy this phone, but seen so many posts regarding the contacts issue with this phone..I am a heavy user of voice and data and i prefer to have a keyboard rather than touch screen....anybody in UAE facing this issue?

Serious issues with Q10.I am a heavy user of phone, voice and data.I have used several high end phones.Initially I wasn't happy because I couldn't group contacts and no apps for 3g cell monotor.Aftet using for one month the speaker during calls is not audible anymore with cracking sound.Two months later the ringing sound's like broken record and not loud.Wrong contacts appear in the call log even when you didnt dial the contact.Settings are okay.Though I like the easy use of the hub and accessing information but I am returning this for another because am frustrated with all the limitations and hardware/software failures.My Note 11 is flawless with so many apps.This is too expensive a phone to have all these drawbacks.Why rush to launch when there are so many flaws.If any advice to correct all these or 3g netmonitor apps pls contact me.Blackberry should think out of the box instead of producing something that is very far from perfection.For more details on using this phone and others or best to buy contact timpus71@gmail.com. .

Hi everyone I don't write too many posts but then but their are so many videos and data for android that I am here to right my first hand experience with blackberry Q10 and how much is it different in terms of experience and build quality from android and apple. Too start with quickly

1. Compact and easy to carry
2. Qwerty experience is awesome
3. Camera is very nice though takes time to focus and the pics are slight issue in the low light.
4. Voice call is fantastic..
5. Easy two steps call
6. Beautifully designed
7. Screen sharpness and pixel density is very good on the square screen.
8. Touchscreen response is very nice and effortless.
9. Few apps that I used to have it on note 2 like - Facebook ,
LinkedIn , four square , twitter are integrated in the OS.
10.'sideload apps - flipboard, Facebook messanger, google maps , Pinterest works.
11. Amazing battery life.
12. U will get beautiful photo editing apps.

1. Fewer apps ,generally good apps are all paid.
2. Third party softwares for generating public links like playcloud from Dropbox, G drive and BOX.
3. Swipe touch is slightly laggy.
4. All slideload apps doesn't work like Instagram, Line , Viber etc.
5. Screen size is slightly small compare to note 2.
6. Price is quite high
7. Blackberry Eco system is not their
8. Blackberry support/customer/ service is also weak.
9. Resale value is also nothing.
10. No call filter/scheduler app.
11. No sleep timer(radio)
12. No FM radio

Q10 is the worst phone I ever used. I' have it for over a month, and its a total peice of crap. Research in motion will def go under after this mess up

lilabel, 23 Aug 2013Thanx to milkbubble for reply but it seems to me that clean... moreI am also having the same problem, old contacts names coming up and when you call them it was the person that I had been speaking to before, cannot continue as most of my business is via the phone and cannot be without my phone so have purchased Samsung Galaxy S111 mini and what a difference but do not know what I am going to do with Q10 feel like chucking it out of my car window, has anyone found a solution yet?..

Had q10 3months now, can't fault it, build quality is really good. Battery lasts me all day , this phone has been that good I've bought a second one for my other contract, blackberry have me an excellent handset with this,

I've even tried to return this one and get new Q10 from the company we bought it but out of the question! I could buy again another Q10 or they'll send this "bugged one" to some licensed service/workshop to check OS or whatsoever... Hate this situation... It happend just when I'm getting used on my Q10 and starting to enjoy in some shortcuts, apps etc. But, it seems to me I'll keep it during the weekend - I won't take it to the workshop, so if any of you get an smart idea regarding my problem with call list - pls.revert! it is really urgent!
