Anonymous, 17 Nov 2008I@ve got an Omnia which will have to go back due to clashes... moreum well.............its not a business phone. is designed with everyone in mind. also the limited ability to use office documents isnt true as u can edit most. basic camera? who prints photos to a3 size and to be honest who actually video calls outside of japan? oh and the omnia is utter rubbish.

Got the handset on Friday and must say I'm really impressed with it, in fact I'm loving it so far.

I@ve got an Omnia which will have to go back due to clashes of software. Minded to get a Storm. Was troubled by the lack of Wifi but then as people have been saying what's the loss if you have a data bundle. More troubling is the basic camera, no camera for video calling, no tv out for presentations, and a limited ability to work with office dox. Surely these are fairly serious shortcomings on a business phone. I don't care about MP3, games, photo albums etc but what looks like a nicely styles innovative device seems short of the mark. Any comments??

Yodafone, 16 Nov 2008In reply to blah blah (black sheep presumably as following ... morethe internet pack on the tariff is not capped at 500mb, it is a fair usage policy which can be exceeded but the network will warn you to look at your usage. The Blackberry compresses all your attachments and emails anyway so unless you spend every second of your life browsing you will be hard pushed to use this allowance in a month.

It all depends on what you need with a phone today. We all know what to expect when you look for a phone. I was reading an article the other day how in Japan (where everything is simply better) they'll just decide to cram everything into a device rather than try to get away with marketing.

I personally cannot live without a BlackBerry. I am dependent on how they work. A lot of people will not buy this for the lack of WiFi, but I have never had the need to use WiFi with either of my BlackBerry or iPhone. I do know people who do use the iPhone over WiFi (a lot more logical actually).

I am annoyed with people who say that this is an iPhone killer. The only iPhone killer will be the iPhone HD (or whatever the next one will be). The iPhone is the best handset at the moment, unless you know that a different device will serve you better.

This will not kill the iPhone, nor will the iPhone ever be able to do what this device can do, out of the box as well.

We still don't know the facts. It may be early software why dsa's device is faulty. I was playing with a Bold 6 month prior to its release and the device was nowhere near to what it is today.

I will personally post what I feel about this device, in a month's time (if it does not disappoint within a month that is).

stevey_uk, 16 Nov 2008i have both an iphone 3g, and i received my storm yesterday... moremadness !!!

My battery needed recharging this afternoon after playing with the phone from 9am

I was at a friends today and we were laughing at how slow it was, seriously its always always the wrong way round.

Believe me I wish this phone was great, my Pearl is dated and the iphone doesnt suit my business needs.

I may go for the Bold but i think its too big, ideally I'd like the new 8900 but it doesnt seem to be avaliable in the UK.

i have both an iphone 3g, and i received my storm yesterday through a saturday delivery.

ill let you know the result now-MY IPHONE IS GOING ON EBAY!!!

when i got the iphone, it was gimmicky, and yes i loved the apps you can add, but none of the apps are benficial to me. so i plodded on with the iphone, and then few months ago someone at voda told me about a new phone coming out that would destroy the iphone (yeh right was my initial reaction).

anyways, it came yesterday, and within one minute of receiving it, my sim was out of my old voda n95 and straight into the storm.

i then did not put the phone down for literally 3 hours or so. this phone, is simply amazing. the touch screen is spot on, its amazing when it clicks in, and it is so accurate,i have massive fingers and it knows what i want to press!! there is a built in move clip called speed racer, which is the most amazing thing iv seen on a mobile. the storm apparently has only 65k colours?!? it looks like a high def tv. the clarity is absolutely superb-and the speakers are immense!

then, i cheekily found out it sincs with itunes!! i was left dumbfounded, what a kick in apple's teeth that is!

the browser on the storm is lush, loads up MEGA fast, internet surfing is a breeze, and as for lack of wifi? who cares, when the network is this quick!!

the camera, again stunning-the detail in the pictures is eerily familiar to that of my 10mp sony camera, video is awesome, and it takes additional memory card.

the battery got cained yesterday, and still was ok this morning-something im not used to on the iphone.

this phone is a must for everyone who has an iphone. the iphone was the big thing last year, well im afraid blackberry have completely blown apple away. this phone should be in everyone's pocket,it truly is stunning. as for people saying its slow, i can turn mine and the screen changes before iv levelled the phone out!!

must be off now, im going to list my iphone 3g on ebay through my storms web browser!!

                                  BUY ONE NOW!!!

Its already been said on comments that tariff is not unlimited so does matter that no wifi, allowance is capped at 500mb - thats if you can actually get 3g!

                                      painfully SLOW

and nowhere as good as iphone

The bllomberg thats now on 3G is not live prives, doesnt not give you access to your bloomberg messages/monitors etc....
