This phone does not worth it!
It has no wifi, no infrared.
I think you should have developed BOLD 9000 MORE,
IT'S FANTASTIC THAN THIS YOUR LATEST ONE.

suckeggs, 12 Nov 2008wbm68... i am upgrading with Vodafone mate and it's not cos... morejust spoke to the manager in the local Vodafone shop and they are fully expecing to release it on Friday morning (the 14th), in fact people are 'booked' to pick up their phones at 9am.
She did look a bit confused when I pointed out they'll be arriving sometime tomorrow, so I'm expecting it in the store on sat 18th.
I was also told £40 on a 18 month contract is the expected tariff, which is good enough for me!!

Still no news on incoming stock any time before the 21st. I believe that Vodafone aren't happy with the firmware as it is, and will push back the release until they are fully satisfied that it is right. That's probably for the best though...

wbm68, 10 Nov 2008Vodafone UK website says pre orders are being posted out on... morewbm68... i am upgrading with Vodafone mate and it's not costing me a penny but i am on a £40 tarriff.
However if you try to get it through the upgrade department they will charge you for the handset... if you then tell them that it would be cheaper to go to O2 and get an iphone they put you through to the promotions department who bend over backwards to keep you with them

Too many people are commenting on the lack of Wifi as if it determines the quality of the phone.
The HSDPA runs at 7.2mps... fast enough for anyone... faster than most home broadband connections.
I have just got off the phone from Vodafone and have been informed that Blackberry have actually put together the package for this phone rather than Vodafone and that they have included free unlimited usage for internet and e-mail... which sort of makes wifi redundant.

I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't find it. Will the vodaphone version (unlocked obviously) be compatible with AT&T's 3G network in the US?
Thanks!

well wifi is important if your going to have fring on it and want to make voip calls which i dont think that blackberry supports,
as well as other fun applications which are extremely fun on the iphone. wi fi will cancel slow download time. and i am not sure of ow fast is the 3g of verizon is but i do know that ATT which i use now is the worst i have ever had. 3g network from AT & T is always down and always acting up cutting connection off and making it hard to use your 3rd party applications.
so we will wait and see how good the blackberry is, hopefully it will be unlocked. :)

Vodafone, for the 4th time, changed the delivery date. Changing the delivery date 4 times?!
No thanks. That totally killed all the excitement. So much that I cancelled my order.

Vodafone UK website says pre orders are being posted out on the 14th Nov, but as I'm looking for an upgrade I'm dreading the amount of money they'll want from me!!
