This is really bugging me, although not that much.

First they say it was the 8th. Then we see it's the 14th on news sites. Then they say it's the 18th! Somebody calls me up earlier that says it's going to be the 11th!

Then I get an email to say it's going to be the 14th.

working for vodafone for 5 years im kind of unexcited by new phones now, however my N95 8GB does what i need it to, fast internet, often use it as a modem, i get free vodafone sat nav, cameras decent enough, nice big screen and decent memory. ive been using the Storm in work training purposes for about a week now and i have to say it really is worth the hype. Its the 1st handset in years im actually excited about and willing to upgrade to the moment it comes out.

Hello! To everyone out there, I am very interested to buy a Blackberry? But I am stuck between the Blackberry Bold and the Blackberry storm. Which one of the two do you recommend that I should get taking into consideration of all the features each phone delivers.

The Bold has all the same functions as the Storm with Wifi but no touch screen. The Storm has full touch screen and the same features as the Bold but no wifi!!!

Which one should I go in for??? Bold with full qwerty keyboard or Storm with full touch screen??? Please let me know as soon as possible. I am waiting for your reply very urgently!!! Thanks a lot in advance. My email is (nicklaw8@yahoo.co.uk)

        Nick Law.

I just got a call from Vodafone advising me that they apologise that it will be delayed, but I should expect it to be delivered on the 11th.

All this time while I was thinking that I should just cancel the order with all the delays, since that's what happened with the Bold, they tried to push it as early as possible. Lo and behold, Orange released the BlackBerry Bold with BETA software on it.

But with that phone call, I think it's very nice of them to go out of their way to re-assure me about their service. Plus points for Vodafone.

There will be a Wi-fi version of this phone coming out shortly after the standard one is released.

Lets you copy and paste from the internet, lets you edit excel files. Put your friends on GPS and see where they are at any time. Expand up to 16gig external, Screen resolution really good for movies, just random stuff the blackberry guy told us.

I cant belive all the people complaining about wifi, considering blackberry through vodafone offer UNLIMITED email and internet. This phone is the iphone killer. Ive played with the omnia and it aint worth it,it froze twice while i used it.

Delayed until 14th November. The reason is that they are stocking up on handsets so there won't be a shortage.

anyone got information on the reason for the delay?
They don't seem to be getting anything else in until the fuss over the storm dies down......
I'm tempted to give up waiting, take my number to O2 and get an iPhone!!

Let's all agree on this. The real competitor to the Storm, and in a way, currently the best handset out there, is the HTC Touch HD.

That thing is friggin' huge. (I mean the speclist)

It would seem self explanatory to all you that never need to use WIFI that it's non existence is not a problem. But as has been mentioned by a few other people, WIFI comes in to its own when travelling. Typically speaking there would be no point for the majority of users not to take up the unlimited data package. But when roaming a more cost effective solution is required. Plus further to this in some countries where vodafone have no agreements for coverage it is ESSENTIAL. I was in Costa Rica recently and had no coverage whatsoever! So why get rid of the facility when this will have very little to no impact on whether the unlimited data package is taken or not - but affect those in genuine need of it.
