Of course you need WiFi regardless of 3G. 3G rates are not the same with WiFi (free) nor the speed is the same...

I was first one thoguht really need to have the Wi-Fi to make the phoen complete and still believe in that. But it is not the must. The phone can do fine without.
Lookback Blackberry success for last few years shows non of their phone had the Wi-Fi and with market share. So, that should say something Myself owen Blackberry 8900 / 9000 Bold. Great Phones. The Storm 2 has Wi-Fi by the way.

Well folks I have this phone for two weeks now and I must say I am happy with it the
Only problem I see with it the battery life is poor at mid afternoon it needs to be recharge but apart from the it works pretty well

The battery life is pathethic.halfway through the day it needs recharging. Slightest shake and pics are blurry. Gonna swop it for an e7
