Maybe make sure you don't have anything blocking updates from automatically downloading. Otherwise a good old hard reset might be the answer. CAT support at least here in the states were actually very responsive when I realized the Proximity sensor quite working after the update. They fixed the phone for free with a very quick turn around. The problem was that they didnt fix anything.....

            My cat s61 torchlight not working, what do I do

              I was very hapy with the phone until it started blanking out when a call was attempted. Anyone else had this problem? Only solution Ive found is to remove the sim. Not really practical of course long term

                I wanted to downgrade from Android 9 to 8 as 9 has lots of bugs but cat said it's not possible.

                My advice, just keep enjoying your android 8 coz you'll regret going 9.

                  Battery charge very slow and discharge very quickly.
                  The battery percentage may be 90% and drop to 5% within 10 minutes even when the phone is idle.

                  If you are experiencing this problem, follow these steps to resolve it:

                  * Remove the sim tray and press the reset button (a tiny button that can only be pressed by a pin) for 5 seconds to reset the phone. The phone will go off. Turn ON the phone after 3 minutes.
                  * Update the android version and Google play store app. (No need if already did).
                  * Turn off the WiFi and Bluetooth.
                  * Turn ON aeroplane/flight mode
                  * Press *#*#228#*#* from the phone/call dialer to see your battery resistance.
                  That's all.
                  Enjoy your battery!

                    When I tap for update this appears "Update is temporarily unavailable" .
                    Almost 1,5 years i see this.
                    So i have to run only Android 8.1.0. Customer support just advice that I should wait.
                    Rubish.

                          I have the cat S61 for 2 weeks and had to reset it 2 times because my Bluetooth stopped working I don't know if there's any other solution

                            I've had it for a year now and it's all good apart from 2 problems, every now and then the phone ringer doesn't sound and I have to restart to resolve the problem. second, notification sound is the same for SMS, email and others and you cannot change it.

                                      I got the run around from CAT 6months from purchase. After the update it wont hold battery. States charging, then full so it stops charging, but it's not charging.I am pissed.
