I bought the Venue 3830 in December 2013. I have had a good experience with the device in general. Dell as a company not so much. They lack product support that tablets require. And that is in general for all their tablets. I won't be buying another as they don't have an interest in updating the OS after the first update nor fixing any bugs that do occur. The accessories aren't being made by third party like Otterbox and I would like better accessories than the ones that are offered. So I will be going Samsung after this.

Who designed this tab ?? With the flip cover , the charging port is provided in such a place that the flip cover cant be closed. Seriously ? Thats so awesome -_- thank you dell xD

Using dell venue 8 3830 .....its great.....just while buying online keep a thing in mind that if u want 2 gb ram take 3830 venue not 3840

Guys this tablet is gud as per specs but not in pratctical use..i think dell needs to luk upon its drawbacks n i hope a gud compny lik dell will come up with a bettr version of this tab in.comng days...till thn wait...bt this tab does not worth d bucks....aftr 2 months of use i sold it....

My dell venue 8 3840 is an excellent tab i love it so much but i don't know why its not charging and i cant boot it on. plss can it be repaired cos its still very new. i need your help

I brought venue 8 3840 LTE form pothies. Decice is very slow. It shows 1gb ram but it is slowerer than other devices which had 1gb ram. I can't use facebook, chrom, youtube etc because the device is very slow. I am total fedup with this device. I didn't expect such a bad product from dell.

I bought dell tablet venue 8 yesterday and I bought it online. I've just discoverd that it can't make calls....... Or may be I can't use it?

im using Dell venue 8 with 3G and 32 gb inbuilt ....the performance is good and price is worth it. im using it since 8 months ....no complaint at all...except sometimes it hangs when we play hd videos .....but its worth to buy....

Even android mobile phone with 512 mb ram offers better service than it.it is no more useful than brick game device.

My Dell Venue8 is a piece of crap, it has spent more time in Toronto being repaired than in my possession. Earlier this year it went to Dell for repairs twice and in a couple of days, as soon as I receive the packaging material, it is back to Dell's repair centre in Toronto. The service guys in India have tried their best and are very polite but the tablet itself isn't worth s.... and I would not recommend it to anyone.
