adam, 13 Mar 2022I'm very disappointed. I returned it after a week. No ... moreOh my, so you bought a device anyone knows it has no headphones jack or notification led, and then you are disappointed because it doesn't have them? That is really credible.... Oh you tough just because you buy one, they will mystiriously appear, right? They are very opened to where their components come from and everything can be tracked. So yeah, "made in china" is also very whel known. The difference is made by the way bigger sallary the workers for their devices are payd, in comparison to every other. Also the gold used, plastic and so on. So yeah, you never bought this device and just came here to do some trolling, quite typical from GSMarena readers who think "techie" of themselves while knowing Zero about tech...

Sin, 19 Mar 2022flagship phones should have flagship chip inside not su... moreThis phone is not for "price-performance" jockers that have no idea what that means. Those ones that look at CPU name and that is also where their understanding of performance ends.
This device was build with a other purposes in mind. Making it a niche in the fload of crapphones and their SD888. And nope it is not a scam it has a market and you are not a part of their market. So you landed in the wrong comment section, you we're probably looking some chinese crapp.

not sure how u can't understand what i said

ever fair phone should have a top tier snapdragon of there year they come out

snapdragon 888 or snapdragon 865 was out time of this smartphone ? its a flagship so why poor performance vs its competitors

i like to the idea of a replaceable flagship smartphone but this a midrange smartphone with flagship price and will age badly

but the specs are so bad we should avoid this smartphone because price to performance is
unacceptable this smartphone is a scam

Sin, 19 Dec 2021can't help but be very angered by the new fairphone 4 ... moreThe Fairphone 4 uses a Snapdragon 750G and the Fairphone 2 uses a Snapdragon 801. Compare the performance of these two chips.

I'm very disappointed. I returned it after a week. No notification LED, no 3.5mm audio jack.
But the worst is... the company is just full of horse manure and no honesty. Very little of the promises are really there. They have them manufactured in China, most of the components are just typical no-name-phone quality. There's no "fair" in this device. Really. And there's no sustainability either. FP3 users are left alone w/o replacement parts (check the official forums).

Was looking for a 5g phone with a removable battery and thought I'd finally found one until I found, no 3.5mm headphone jack! I'm currently using an old LG v20 which not only has it, but also has a high DAC. I must admit I seldom use it but it's a feature I'm going to be reluctant to forego. I'm sick of tech companies following Apple's lead - who can shoulder the bulk of blame for reducing humanity's collective intelligence with their shitty, backwards, dumbphones.

It's beyond my understanding why they removed headphone jack when they cant produce wireless earbuds and has no influence in the audio world, unlike Apple ans Samsung who owns big headphone manufacturers. This is like, friendly to environment but hostile to customers.

How pointlessly boring your life must have to be to get smooth scrolling effect all the time? Unless if you are a heavy gamer, that kind of feature is completely irrelevant.

Dear GSMArena, it would be great if you could do a simple review of this device so it is easier to compare and recommend. With nits, sound, camera samples and battery rating it is easier to know what peope (friends and family) will be trading in terms of ethics and "repairibility"!

If one companies phone actually deserve to be talked about, i think its this one!

To be able to buy a decent durable phone manufactured without heavy human or environmental abuse and even human slavery is a revolution. Those complaining about specs and comparing prices with phones made by the big conglomerates have totally missed the point. If you think super smooth scrolling is more important than this I think you're on a strange and very sad path.
