abcdefghiqbar, 02 Sep 2023Customized version of sd778 I guessIt's an enterprise SoC, chosen because of the longe update support then standard snapdragon SoC's

Shocksquash, 03 Sep 2023700 euros really? 💀 700 Euro's is definitely expensive, but to be fair you can use this phone at least 8 years, 5 major android upgrades, 8-10 year security updates. 5 year warranty.

That's like 5x as much warrenty as most companies (outside of goverment mandated warrenty times)

Like 2x as many android upgrades as a lot of phones

          2-3x as many security updates

So when I thought about that I do find it worth the price, still on the expensive side, sadly a lot of phones are

Anonymous, 03 Sep 2023My brother has a Note 9 with the TikTok UI burned into it s... moreI have been using OLED phones since 2017, never had a single burn in. A friend of mine has an S20 since 2021, it has already been burned in. But it's not because of the technology, it's how people handle their phones. A lot of people that have burned in phones are people that keep their screens on maximum 100% brightness almost everywhere, they often leave their screen on for long times, no auto sleep or turn of the screen when they don't use it. Often don't care about static content, leave apps (like tiktok or Instagram) open for hours.

You don't get OLED burn ins if you are only a tiny bit careful with your phone / screen

This phone is intriguing. People say it's expensive upfront but if it lasts 8 years with one or two replacement batteries then it's cheap over its life.
