I bought a Pixel 4a Nov 2020. It has a good camera and decent battery life. It hasn't had any problems. I won't hesitate to buy an equivalent one when the 4a is no longer supported.

I bought Pixel 4a since last year September, it's of no use to me. No sound is coming out of the phone. I can't make calls, no ring tone sound, just only vibration. The speaker of the phone is not working and it is a software problem. I updated the OS to latest version Android 13 hoping the issue would be solve.. it works once and stopped working. I kept it in the carton waiting for the next update... my advice.. stay away from PIXEL 4A!!!

Mine is still working well in 2023! Hard to find a phone this size and weight in today's standard and still deliver great battery and camera functions! Software updates still available too so it's still a very good phone in 2023!

Do not buy this phone in 2023. My Pixel 4a has had multiple hardware issues on its own accord and has went through 3 warranty claims in the span of 2 years.

Don't see much difference between it and pixel 6 pro basically. Its size is an addiction. I am never going back to Pixel 6 Pro sized phones. It will get updates till August 2023. Used the 4a only as a camera and it consumes 1% or more a minute for that, not much options for any tweaking either in the settings - just point and shoot, lack of ultrawide was a huge minus, 4k@30 is kinda last decade. My fp scanner worked maybe twice out of 100 times.

I am tempted because of the size (sick of 6.5 and bigger)
                            and Photo capabilities

What a phone. Using the blue one nowadays, as my pixel 6 pro screen got cracked. It looks so good in real life. Google Pixel colors are a treat to watch in real life. I don't see much difference to be honest when it comes to camera and performance (non-gaming, as I dont play games). Pixel 6 Pro is clear when it comes to display though. Pixel 6 Pro display is on Samsung level, stunning. But when it comes to battery life, shockingly Pixel 6 Pro beats it by only 2 hours. I guess it has a lot to do with 'chipset'. Pixel 4a is really handy. I don't miss the size of Pixel 6 Pro at all, lol. I wish Google releases a smaller Pixel 8 flagship which should be the same size as 4a, but with a Snapdragon chipset ;-)

It is unfair for you to use Android 3000.I'm still using Android 800(Oreeeeeeooooo).How can I update to Android 2000 LOL

Just got this phone for 120 bucks. It's used, had some weird custom ROM with only the camera and the calculator app but I flashed the stock Android 13 on it, works like a charm!
