Anonymous, 26 Aug 2020I'm not a salesman and neither am I desperate to sell ... more.. let me try to be a Salesman too, just an amateur ones :) but I'm Honest. Ok, so why Google Pixel 4a?
1. Simple, reliable, affordable, light, and COMPACT ..will be happily disappear into my jeans easily.
2. Pure Android , safe and clean , no extra useless apps which many can't be removed by the users.
3. You'll get Android version updates at least 3 years from First Hand, fast.
4. A couple of useful cameras ( as cool as F*** ) are always better than a bunch of useless cameras.
5. Here in Europe you pay about the same price but you'll get a Snapdragon, instead of Exynos (samsung)

Smith, 27 Aug 2020Thank you so much. Every suggestion I receive is pushing me... moreSD 855 has plenty of power to last you more than 3 years. Even midrange processors nowadays (snapdragon 730) will be more than enough. So unless you are a heavy gamer that demands the highest graphics settings, SD 855 should be more than enough for the forseeable future. Lags are caused by many factors: among them, internal storage nearing full capacity, internal storage accelerated wear from frequent media read/write/erase (better use micro sd for media files), software update corruption problems (especially major software updates, which can be resolved by factory reset) and defective or fake micro SD cards (just replace the micro sd card). Of course, there's also intentional/engineered lags to force a user to upgrade or buy a new phone. My suggestion is to avoid installing the last few software updates if your phone is nearing 2 years old. These are usually the killer software updates that create lag problems when previous to the software update there was none.

Anonymous, 27 Aug 2020Hi, I would like to hear you opinion about Pixel 4a vs. Hua... moreIf i was you i would wait for pixel 5. It is at least 100$ more, but if you want to use it for 3-4 years you will be happy you spent that extra money :)
gonna do the same. I originally wanted the 4a, but the 5 will have a 6 inch display in the exact same body size as well as a SD 765 which is important for using it a long time.

Hi, I would like to hear you opinion about Pixel 4a vs. Huawei P30.
My current phone just died and I'm thinking about buying one of these two. (Currently in my country the P30 is for sale at the same price as the Pixel, however the latter will only be available here from October.)
For me the most important things are the compact size, good photography and I'm planning to use the phone for 3-4 years, so it should still work properly after those years. I'm also concerned a little bit of the fingerprint reader on the P30, that it will not work as smoothly under the screen as the Pixel's on the back.
Do you think it worth to wait for the Pixel or should I just buy the P30?

Anonymous, 27 Aug 2020Hi, I would like to hear you opinion about Pixel 4a vs. Hua... moreThe P30 is better overall although being a Huawei phone, Android 10 may be its last update. Also, even if it has an overall better camera setup, and has high quality photo output from Huawei's own camera app, when it comes to really low light, I'm positive it still wouldn't outperform GCam's Night Sight. There's very little development on GCam with Night Sight for Kirin, Exynos and Mediatek devices and that's part of the reason why I always go for snapdragon based devices.

Who needs flagship processor, most of the people wanted a average phone which have
3.5mm jack, average 4000 mah battery, good look, average sd 768 processor, best camera simple... Price is not matter if they provide some basic features atleast., Why Google not provide basic stuffs like this but they provide you from past 4 years like
Useless soli radar chip, Usb c dongle, poor battery life, garbage e-sim half backed dual sim features, slow 7.5W wireless charging
What is this, shame on it, why Google not providing basic features in there smartphone, is it too difficult..😥😢

Anonymous, 27 Aug 2020Certainly! The S10 lite is 100% much better phone than this... moreThank you so much. Every suggestion I receive is pushing me closer to buying S10 Lite. I am still skeptical though. At the same of price, or a litte more, one could buy OP8, which has better processor. Now, I told that I am not a OP fan, but this time I am really concerned about longevity. I need to be sure that my phone performs lag free for atleast over 2 years. Do you think SD 855 has that kind of juice on it?

Anonymous, 27 Aug 2020Certainly! The S10 lite is 100% much better phone than this... moreI'd like to add, if you were attracted to the Pixel 4a because of GCam, don't worry. You can have your cake and eat it too with the S10 lite. It's got a snapdragon processor so ported GCams are plentiful and they give you more control and better output with the S10 lite's fast snapdragon 855 processor. Smith, 26 Aug 2020True that. I've been using Samsung phones for 4-5 year... moreCertainly! The S10 lite is 100% much better phone than this Pixel 4a phone. The S10 lite has bigger amoled screen, bigger battery, micro sd expansion - it's got all the basics covered for maximal user engagement and enjoyment. How can one enjoy photos, videos and gaming if the screen is poor quality and ultra small by 2020 standards? How can one enjoy if the unusually low capacity battery (by 2020 standards) frequently dies and needs frequent charging before the movie or game is over? How can one enjoy if there's storage anxiety when one is doing marathon recording of special events, occasions and travels in no less than glorious 4K 60fps for maximum enjoyment on big screen TV mirroring? Only logo and brand salesmen and fanboys ignore those things.
Also, the S10 lite has so much more to offer than this Pixel 4a: a much faster, 2019 flagship snapdragon 855 processor, 4K 60fps video, up to 512GB internal storage option should you decide to use dual SIM, ultra fast 45W rapid charging and a better camera setup (with ultrawide, macro and higher resolution selfie camera). It doesn't have a headphone jack though and is $90 more expensive, but it certainly is worth the price.

Anonymous, 26 Aug 2020The processor is certainly fast enough to last you two year... moreTrue that. I've been using Samsung phones for 4-5 years now. I wanted to make a shift to Pixel ecosystem and was adamant on buying this phone. However, now I am having second thoughts. Do you think S10 Lite is a better buy? I can manage to stretch my budget for getting my hands on it. I am not a OP fan and don't plan on buying OP 7t, or even 8 for that matter. What's your opinion?

Ok, I get it. Some people really do have different needs. They have more need for the brand image and prestige rather than a truly satisfying user experience brought about by bigger screen, longer battery life, and more storage. Therefore, never mind if it's a poor man's iphone or a poor man's Pixel, as long as the Apple or Google logo is there. I can certainly understand that. Real salesmen and real fanboys value brands and status symbol logos more than anything else. I don't. :)
