Anonymous, 02 Aug 2022I did have that issue , trying to swipe up to open the app ... moreI meant to just quick flick to put the app in the back first, not swipe to enter the app switcher screen.
It seems swiping to enter the app switcher is my phone's cue to freeze.
Although annoying, I find the 2 step works better , quick swipe the put the app in the background, secondly swipe to enter app switcher.
Or you could set the back tap gesture to open the app switcher without using a swipe at all.

Dont mind me, 02 Aug 2022Anyone else facing a touch issue where the screen freezes w... moreI did have that issue , trying to swipe up to open the app switcher to close stuff...all I got was a blurred background and frozen system.
But after a while it seems to have stopped or at least reduced in frequency.
I don't keep my finger on the screen when swiping up now, but I give it a quick flick up

Anyone else facing a touch issue where the screen freezes when you would like to close apps? I am facing this issue after the latest security update.

Nah ! Coming to flagships I mean flagship brands like Apple Samsung Google , I generally felt Apples ios is very much well optimized, but not good for high res camera enthusiasts as well as customization is not par with Android, But even in 60hz the Ui is super smooth in ios . Camera quality is good but lacks much details .
Generally Samsung flagships are a worth 👌 overall good experience with 5 year of software support. Coming to pixel devices every pixel devices had very much optimized camera and good ui but quite expensive at the price and also the tensor chip by Google is actually the overthrottled exynos chipset .

How can you say it's ugly when apple are the most basic looking phones out. Samsung have hardly changed their design in the last 5 years. At least google made the effort, and I think it paid off it's a nice phone. As for the google dialer what you chatting? It works as intended and has a lot of features I approve of. I think you have never used one personally only seen videos on your iphone 7 hand me down, jealousy is an ugly thing and it shows. As for Samsung phones I've had so many of them and they haven't changed much at all and there are other brands out there doing the same and better for less.

I had the Nexus 5, 6, pixel 2, 3 , and 6 now
It's really fast, I'm 48 and tech is my life, if I have to wait, I'll just buy something faster, I don't like to have to wait for my tech devices to do shit, I have no patience xD
I switched screen back to 60 hs because the difference in heat and power consumption doesn't justify (for me) using 90, having say that, 90 looks pretty awesome. But I value battery more.
Front fingerprint scanner..... Rats..... I hate it, it is wrongly placed, slow... And I mean...SLOW , fails a lot, specially if I was doing electrical work and my fingers are a bit scratched up, forget it.
For my taste it is too freaking big and heavy, in my pants the size and weight makes my pants go down and I hate that.
I'm currently back to my pixel 3 which is waay smaller, lightweight (battery is crap though) and my pants don't go down xD
Connectivity wise, pixel 3 has better signal, probably most phones have better signal than my pixel 6 which sucks, but I was expecting that when I saw the chipset arrangement, i can live with that.
It doesn't come with the battery's killer charger, like previous models, which is better, I just use a slow 3 hour charger from Anker.
My pixel 3 battery is fucked up because of the original very fast charger, so I'll never ever will use a fast charger again.
TLDR:
It's too big
It's too heavy
Front fingerprint is shit
It's really really fast
I like the camera bar design
The camera is the best I have ever seen under ANY conditions, specially when filming.
Battery is borderline ok
