If you're still deciding either to buy pixel 6 or wait for 7, or even considering if you should buy Google phones, I hope my review could help you.
Pixel 6 is my first flagship phone, bought with my first business income. I wanted to wait for pixel 7 too, as I've been noticing mixed reviews and bug reports since launch, however my 5years old mid range phone couldn't make it to its 6th years.
Overall, it isn't as bad as people said. Don't get me wrong, no phone is perfect, and of course there's some bugs encountered on pixel 6 too, but non of them are critical, as at this point most major bugs have been patched or workaround. The "heats up easily" issue happens on my pixel 6 too, but only for the first month. It rarely heats up now except fast charging and using camera.
Can't really tell how well pixel performs in it's extreme, as I'm not a heavy mobile gamer. Nevertheless it works smoothly, no delay or fps drop for casual phone. I don't get why people having fuss about 90Hz display, it's just looks smooth to me. Of course you can see the difference if you are try to nitpick it, and force it onto a condition to make it look worse than 120+Hz.
The stock android gives a premium experience, without bloatwares, ads or cringe UI designs. Some people might prefer other brands that provide exclusive apps or features, but for me, those "fun" features will be slowly forgotten and never to be used again. The simplicity and customizable of the OS gives you a really comfortable experience.
I'm using an imported set as google isn't selling it at my country, yet the connectivity are great, and I often uses it hotspot for my other devices.
As for the battery life, it isn't as horrible as I expected. A full charge is more than enough for my daily use, with mostly on social media, video streaming, hotspot and messaging, with 30%+ left at the end of the day. As for day when I spend more time on pixel 6 than average, a charge a day is enough. You might argue that with its 4700mah it should have longer life, but again, don't look at the numbers, it isn't designed based on number, but on experience.
The phone is heavier then any phone I've hold, but it isn't very bulky. The size and shape is well designed, for my hand of course, you might need to hold it and see if it's a match for your hand too. The curve side of the phone without any sharp edge makes it really good to hold. The heavier weight doesn't make me feel any uncomfortable too. With correct hand posture I can use my phone for hours without feeling tired. It is a plus in some scenario too, as the heavier weight reminds my hand that it's holding a phone, as I've been mistakenly dropped my phone in the past when I almost forgot I'm holding a phone.
Camera works great. It's my main reason to own this phone. For my case I don't really need any macro or telephoto or megapixels. I love to take picture of what my eye sees, and pixel 6 did a perfect job at it. It also works well on 2x digital zoom. Magic eraser also comes in handy, it's best to be use at smaller area, I've been using it to remove corner objects, poles and wires, dirty spots and window glares, so far it works great!
Does pixel 6 better than other flagship phones? I can't tell, but of course it doesn't look as great as others on numbers. Does pixel 6 worth the price? Yes! The experience, the camera, the OS and performance, is far more worth than that. Should you buy? Depends, what you need a phone for, what's your budget, what you would expect. But if you do bought it, give it some time, it never made me regret even once.

I got the pixel 6 last week and I'm returning it this week to keep my iphone 11. It's not user friendly at all. I get text messages and the notification is not visible enough to alert me even with "do not disturb" off. Considering I switched specifically for the camera, it's terrible with organizing photos in folders. The pictures I manually downloaded from the icloud are not sorted by date taken even though the filter is set that way. So it's just a bunch of random picture I now have to sort through to find what I'm looking for. In addition to that when I edit a pictures, it saves it in a different folder and makes a copy of EVERYTHING when I just want to edit the original. And that's just one of the many problems. Not worth the hassle!

My P6 experience so far is its best smartphone I have ever had. I had 2 pixels and Samsungs before this and it is a wonderful phone. I received it in late October, took the mid-November update, did not take the December update due to it being buggy. Took the January update which made the fingerprint work a lot better, smoother, and a better experience. Took the February update and no problems. Finally, took the March, April May, and June updates and everything is working very well. I have Google Fi and it uses Tmobile 5G in my rural area which is very fast. The camera, speed, memory, battery life (more than 35 hours) is great! Call screening, integration with messages-on-the-web, magic eraser, on-hold assistant, etc. work very well.

This phone should have been a failure
but none tech people have been tricked by google and the payed tech reviewer hype and i can't get them too understand that the phones just fast enough so people can't see what the problem is but the specs are not as good as they seen
The google tensor is about snapdragon 870 tier level
This phone is performance and specs is not as good as what you buy for you should be getting so much more
also this phone is bad value for money don't be fooled
