There is no face recognition for unlocking. Finger print feature is slow. There is no charger head. Also no free Google space is provided which i heard comes with the Google phones. Else i am loving my phone.

This is very disappointing that aby of Pixel 6 versions doesn't contain 3.5mm jack port. It cannot acceptable from GOOGLE.

Gary, 19 May 2022Biggest thing to know is that the fingerprint sensor sucks.... moreI noticed the same thing. I found if you simply hold your finger on the spot for a couple of seconds it registers more accurately than if you hold it there briefly. But even that's not 100%.

~6 months since availability, and some of the early issues that caused a storm of unhappy customers on Twitter are still not fixed.

In April I decided to switch brands. I everything Google, so I purchased the Pixel 6.

My initial thoughts: Larger than the Samsung Galaxy S9; I do not like that the finger sensor is on the front of the display; I'm disappointed with the wallpaper selections, the absence of themes; The lackluster Pixel Launcher; The power and volume buttons share the space on the same side of the phone; The personal customizations options are less than what would be considered industry standards. Disappointed yes. Will I go back to Samsung? Absolutely YES.

                          Pixel 6 is a mess
Slow, runs hot, battery last only 24h on idle, finger print reader is a joke.
                          Worst phone google ever made.
I hope to have smt like 4a 5g back.

A pretty solid phone! At the moment, I've had the phone for 6 months and haven't had any big issues. Android 12 runs really well on it too. I wasn't too crazy with just the finger print screen lock feature, but it's not too bad. Overall, it's a pretty nice phone to use.

Worst phone I've had. More and more bugs everyday. Keeps loosing internet connection and takes ages to reconnect. GPS in also buggy.

Ram and chip is not powerful enough to multitask without hickups.

Worst experience of a phone in Years!

I got Pixel 6 as soon it becomes available in my country, just out of the box was disappointing, it took some updates to have everything in place and now works fine.
It's heavy and the form factor is not that comfortable in hands, I personally do not like the camera design. Battery life is quite good and performances are meet. Camera is sometimes having weird colors compared to an iPhone one, looks like artificial too much bright and not consistent with reality. A good device but with some compromise. If it was smaller and lighter (ie. composite instead aluminium) shall be a great choice as intermediate device. A Pixel 4a format is the choice nowadays in my opinion.

Protector, 23 Mar 2022I use my Fairphone 2 more than 5 years now and I know some ... more"I use my Fairphone 2 more than 5 years now and I know some people who use their phones several years. You should really consider how much damage to the environment it does to win the rare earths (or noble earths) that are necessary to produce smartphones"

I understand the concerns, and I agress with you, smartphones are terrible for the environment.

There are still other things to weigh in, security (physical and cyber), performance (if I have a smartphone it needs to be able to do what I want) and planned obsolescence.

Most phones do not have a replaceable battery and old li-ion battery can become dangerous when they're in their endings. Cybersecurity is another problem with old phones, most vendors claim to support for ~4 years but most of them do not send security patch after 2-3 years... (Samsung is one of them). Planned obsolescence is another plague these days, almost every big vendors are making their phones to breaks or too slow to use conveniently.
