I would be happy with a 778 or Tensor, but I hope this uses the Tensor. Using a 778 instead of Tensor kind of comes across as Tensor is nothing special to Google and they just wanted to create a buzz by saying they have their own chip. It means nothing without any real commitment behind it. Putting it in the 6a and all future Pixels will give it more legitimacy that Google is all in with it.

I remember using the Nexus 5 and it feeling like the perfect size. I don't understand why phones these days are the size of small tablets.

Before anyone bother pointing out that more space = bigger battery. I'd like to specify that if the OEM chooses to optimize the OS, that also can help achieve excellent battery. Plus, optimizing the OS also helps deliver a better user experience. Google obviously delivers (atleast imo) the best android experience out there but 6 could use some optimization and it seems like the upcoming patches are meant to deliver just that.
Anyways, regarding the 3.5mm jack - OEMs simply choose to abandon the jack because it helps with the sales of TWS buds or those horrendous Type-C to 3.5mm connectors. Improved battery, better waterproofing have got nothing to do with it. That's their marketing teams doing their best to brainwash you with arguments with some semblance of reasoning. The only valid reason to drop it might be reduced manufacturing costs but I'd like to see any OEM admit it.
Also, the A52s, A72 and the older pixels a phones actually are pretty good with battery. These phones also have the headphone jack.
I'd also add Sony phones to the list but their absolutely ridiculous pricing kinda makes it hard for anyone to use them as an example in a remotely reasonable argument.
TWS vs 3.5mm is an argument that has been done many times. So nothing new needs to be said, both have their various use cases, merits and demerits. So if the removal of 3.5mm jack from a phone series that had housed it for the past couple of years is listed as a demerit then it is a valid one.
Also, thank you for pointing out that they had flagged the specs. I totally missed that somehow.

About 3.5mm jack, it is well-known. If that means higher battery capacity, I am up for it.

The processor isn't really confirmed yet. So that piece of info should ideally be removed.
Then again I suppose the same can be said for the entirety of the specs that weren't evident by just looking at the renders.
Love the Pixel a series, not keen on the fact that they decided to drop the headphone jack on a midranger this time. Then again, with Samsung dropping it for their A series, it hardly comes as a surprise.

Tafserul alim Apon, 22 Nov 2021Looking Forward to buy this if the price is 399$Looking forward to see more people who would like to give even lower price than that. I am sure you would also buy this if it would be 250? 😁😁😁
You people are so funny. You think Google will care about the number that you have on your minds. 5a costs 450 and it somewhat outperforms pixel 5 that costs 650.
Since 650 is pixel 6 price, Google will price it similar to Apple, 499 at least.
