      1. To protect the battery, from around 0-20 and 80-100% charge rate is slowed. This is why a "full charge" takes longer than your calculated value.
      2. When charging, the battery heats up, so to prevent damage, charging slows when it reaches about 35C usually in steps ex. 45w>30w>15w to maintain temperature. Ambient temp, and wether your using the phone affects how fast you reach the temperature limit.
      3. When doing a quick top up, this is when the peak "45w" charge rate is most important. You can typically charge ~30% maintaining the max charge rate and regain hours of life in a few minutes.

                            It is kind of funny the new charging speed, as Google would be afraid to go higher. :))
                            By the way I love this new design, but I do hate the new prices, and the cameras are the same as the 8 series.

                                      They should've gave us a titanium frame for this price.

                                        37w in 2024 😆 they've been left behind by chinese brand phones by 5years. overall i kinda like its appearance, it looks clean.
