I was thinking of buying microsd card for freeing internal storage of this phone.
This phone is still better than Samsung a13 6/128 and other phones in 2022.

I had to remind them to apologize for the fake news they gave to Honor users and they ended up reviewing the gist to be legit and that Honor is pushing MagicUI5/EMUI12 update to honor users... I've no idea the devices that has became eligible for this or devices that has received the update

I know this is stupid question, does honor 8x supports 512 gb microsd card and 1 tb microsd card ?
When this phone was launched 512 gb microsd card and 1 tb microsd cards were not available in the market but now they are available. At that time 400 gb microsd card was available. Maybe they have not tested 512 gb and 1tb microsd card because of that.

Will there ever be updates? I can sense that my volume control lags from time to time, and I had to do a Restart. Fortunately, it solves the problem.
Otherwise, I'm extremely happy with my Honor 8X. I've been using this for over 3 years now!

I have today been informed by Huawei Mobile Support UK that EMUI 12 is incompatable with the Honor 8X model.
I'm certain that i will not be alone in feeling sorely upset after HuaweiCentral pour out loads of fake info.
Just like our media outlets they shout out all sorts of jargon that ends up being rubbish.
I will certainly not be following their website in the future

Alot of us have been awaiting the update after seeing announcements made earlier in the year by huaweicentral, but the mere mention oh the Honor 8X has since fell silent.
However, i find it strange that China models are using emui12 and this has not been delivered globally (unless there have been many issues).
I for one, do not wish to hack my phone using TWRP and would rather have my phone using its original software.

Today is 2 October but still honor 8x is not get hormony os update. Why honor 8x is not getting software update beside company claim that on 22 September honor 8x will get hormynos update. Why is not happening this?

I still have not heard about any update for the Honor 8X here in the UK.
I am on Emui 10 and i check settings, system updates every day.
I see online forums where people have claimed to have concrete evidence that the update is coming our way, but they show no evidence of this. Where do people get their info?
