Unrelated vent... Stupid ebay seller lied & mine is coming from china after all. Fedex telling me I'm getting it tomorrow... it's still in china & has been since monday. So much for paying more for faster delivery. Should have just bought it from Ali.

It has the IMX278 sensor which is fine and optimization is the same as on P8 etc, so it's a nice camera. The display only gets praise everywhere so I don't know what those people are whining about. It's a Samsung amoled display for crying out loud.

To phone users: I have found some disturbing facts at chineese reviews(Google translator).1) camera images too soft when zoom to 100% and lack of detail (grass, trees). 2.) poor quality display (inaccurate colors, low brightness, colors change when change brightness).Could you please comment it and post somewhere camera images at 100% size?

Got it off Aliexpress for USD439.99 for 128GB. Shipping took two weeks, no biggie for me. It was a replacement for a P8max that took a dip in the waters of Siargao. I actually like it better than the P8max. It seems to have better reception where I'm at compared to my P8max. No LTE on ATT but, HSPA is good enough for me. Two speaker grills on the bottom but sound only comes out on one. Maybe just to balance the design as the P8max has only one grill. Higher resolution display does consume more than P8max.

Does this phone worth it anyway?! I'm thinking the switch from Samsung s7 edge to this will be a good step since I'm seeking a bigger screen high end cell!!

I wonder if they'll release this in the Philippines. I'd love to have this coz I'm such a sucker for phablets. Personally, anything smaller than 6 inches is not a phablet. 😚

On tesco is perfect no problem and i have another sim card from 3 and tomorrow I will check if the phone works or not and I can let you know on Facebook. Just put Chris barber and send requests to me

Usually takes a month to get anything from then shipped to the US. Ebay was a US seller so I should get it within a week & was only $447. Worth the little extra to not deal with aliexpress. :-)
Now to find a root method that works!!
