Hey guys, any idea how to disable the notification sounds while on a call? Without a 3rd party sms application of course.

Anonymous, 26 Jan 2011At no point did I say A2SD+ was the same as Data2SD I think... moreData2sd is not "unstable", if you use "Ownheres newest Data2Ext script v8.2" with the method with fat + ext4 + ext4 + swap it is totally and completly stable.
[Espresso Sense HD][23 Jan]RCS Touch v07, by "robocik" is the best rom for HTC Desire today.! :)

Data2SD is still unstable compared to A2SD+ at the moment.
Don't think you can compare that ROM to Defrost, RichardTrip's work takes some beating

With a2sd some parts of every app is still installed on the internal 147 mb memory so you will rather soon run out of memory on your internal memory even if a2sd "moves" all apps to the sd-card. Having 1 gb a2sd is overkill because you will still run out of internal memory long before you have been able to use all your 1 gb on tje sd-card.
With DATA2sd your internal memory is replaced with the 1 gb on the sd card, and you can use all of those 1 gb because the original 147 mb internal memory does not exist anymore and is replaced with the 1 gb on the sd-card. DATA2sd is a completely different and much better option! And the rom on the link in an earlier comment is by far better than Defrost.

I tried to connect my Desire to my pc but it tells me to install htc sinc that came along with the micro sd card but I purchased a sixteen gb micro sd when I bought the phone. The one that came with the device is not with me. Now how can I install and connect to my pc? Can anyone help?

Anonymous, 25 Jan 2011I now use this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthre... moreThat really is the beat rom, and I have tried most of them, it is very fast and stable and it is Froyo 2.2.1 and the DATA2sd is very totally stable giving 1 Gb internal memory instead of only the original137 mb. I really recommend this rom because it makes HTC Desire into the best phone today, much better than IPhone4 and Galaxy S.

gms, 26 Jan 2011i want to knw tht does new desire cums with amoled or lcd s... moreSamsung who produces the AMOLED has problem meeting the demands and cannot deliver sufficient parts to HTC and others as i write this. Therefore most Desire models ships out today with LCD screens.

Hi there... I have prob offing my alarm... sometimes when I miss the snooze by accidentally touching the screen then later on I can't find any other way to off the alarm other than offing the whole phone... please advice.... thanks.

I now use this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=818392 with D2EXT (version - Fat + Ext4 + Ext4 + Swap (fat+1GB+0.3GB+0.1GB)) I now have more than 800 mb internal memory (not the standard 147mb)
