I'm tryig to download angrybirds game from the android market in my Desire. It takes a long time to get it done. Moreover it drains my money so fast. Any alternative?

I find in the manage apps that a lot of apps are running even when my phone is off. This may drain the battery. Is it advisable to stop those running apps? Or should I let them be?

kaarigan, 16 Jan 2011Is it true that the present Desire does not have AMOLED scr... moreAdvantage of AMOLED is to save more battery (approx 20%ish more effiecent). AMOLED is also a bit brighter than LCD (you can only tell at max brightness).
AMOLED has a much much better contrast than LCD.
But right now, I'm not sure if Samsung have enough AMOLED displays to distribute to HTC for their Desire phones. Right now AMOLED is in a bit of shortage.
My Desire has AMOLED screen. They may have changed to S-LCD. You should ask and check.

Is it true that the present Desire does not have AMOLED screen? Or is it SLCD OR AMOLED screen? I am not able to see the difference.

How can I remove remove iQuran, Al-Moazin from my HTC desire. I bought my mobile from Kuwait. I dont use these programmmes and wish to remove them as it drains the battery by using GPS. Please help

Is it possible to update to 2.2 using PC rather then using WiFi?
coz i didnt have wifi connection, just having a broadband connection.

If you mean HD video recording quality, then it depends: under daylight the quality is OK, but inside buildings the fps drops so the recording quality suffers. In that case, it is better to switch from 720p to 480p recording.

A cheap Creative in-ear headset increases the volume output so much that it is impossible to listen music in high stand without exploding your ears.
If you need equalizer in your music player, just try another music player application, like PowerAmp or MixZing.

I have htc desire upgraded on froyo2.2.i didnt see any big diference in video.but when u making video on highest resolution 720p the picture is too perfect.batery life is very small and i dont know how to improve that.any sugestions?

I just now bought myself a Desire for 23000. The Phone is fine. It's my first touch as well as android phone. I'm pretty proud of it. Yet the audio sound is not that much loud which puts me off. Is there any way to better the volume? Plus no personal qualiser is found which is again a big drawback for a device which burnt a hole in my pocket. Desire fans please help me out.
