I see that some of you guys are facing issues with auto shut down and connection cut. Personally, I already had the Desire for 4 months, and soon 5th month, and I seriously had not faced such problems before. Consider me lucky if you will, but if I do not have these problems yet, I don't think it's like "common" in all Desire like some of you said. Of course, you can say that I am having a "faulty" Desire, which somehow works better than the "normal" Desire.

(after returning my Sh!t No... moreIF its Amoled it will say AMOLED on the box.. other wise it would say something like TOUCH SENSITIVE !!!
thats what i read on other forums!!!!

I receieved my Desire today!!
(after returning my Sh!t Nokia N8)
I have not turned it on yet as I want to give it a 3 hour charge first.
My box does not say whether I have AMOLED or SLCD screen so how will I know which one I have? (and does it matter?)

Had mine for 3 months no such problems,Amazing phone that will meet your needs I cant fault it. you could find examples of any phone going faulty, As your looking at thousands of units being shifted to say this is a black mark against the desire is over reaction ,

after almost 5 months, i didnt face much probs, but it freezes on 2.2, eventhough it was perfect on 2.1/ im waiting for a firmware update, which may work better. i have AMOLED screen, so battery doesnt last long , but is better. the only probs are that it is freezing and second, it is rebooting after freeze. i havent faced any 3g prob, im happy. my phone went to service centre, now it works better. the HTC guys told me that updating it to a newer firmware, if possible or reloading the whole 2.2 may work. so pray for me, it works as fast :)

Ive had my desire nearly 7 months now. Doesnt switch itself off, data works fine. yes its rooted its super quick
no issues what so ever

As you h... moreThe problems is NOT caused by rooting,and even Desire HD have these 3G-connection-problems without rooting.

Can someone please tell me is there a way to mark all my e-mails as read at once. Once a week my already read emails become unread again and my inbox is blocked with 99+. I have to list through all of them to fix this and it's annoying

As you have now changed the phone from the normal spec it's difficult to say, but it may not be the phones fault.
Plenty out there that don't do this.
